Chely Wright and her wife Lauren Blitzer are expecting identical twins this July and on Tuesday Chely shared Baby A's first baby picture ... an ultrasound.
Chely posted the above picture saying: “Isn’t that the cutest thing ever!? RT“@lulublitzer: Ultrasound heaven. Baby A foot.”

"Wish Me Away" is, of course, the story of Chely's coming out as a lesbian.
Okay, this is one of those posts that I will probably lose some readers over, but I feel the very strong urge to speak my mind as a fan of Chely's and as a country music lover and as a friggin' normal human being.
First, I have to say that I'm a huge supporter of Chely Wright and always have been. I like her music and she seems like a very sweet person. I also 100% support her coming out as a gay human being. I personally think that everyone should have the opportunity to live as who they are regardless of their sexual orientation, color, religion, height, weight, job status, whatever. I say, 'You go girl.'
I've also never shied away from posting about Chely and whatever she has going on in her life. There are people out there who like to spew their religious and/or homophobic beliefs whenever I post about her, but that's their problem, not mine, and I'm a firm believer that everyone's entitled to their opinion even if I don't agree with those opinions.
That said, I'm also to the point that I feel I need to give a bit of unsolicited advice to Chely....please, please, please for the love of hot cakes just get back to the music already -- that is if you do want to keep fans and keep calling yourself a country music singer anyway.
Here's my beef. Ever since Chely came out in 2010, she's been saying that all of country has turned against her because she's gay. That's the running theme I keep hearing -- poor me, poor me, poor me.
Umm, no we haven't. I've seen so many times over the last couple of years me and almost every other country music blog out there supporting Chely. I've never personally read a single bad thing about her anywhere. I'm sure it's out there, but I've never read anything, and I read a lot of websites. CMT, The Boot, Country Music is Love, Country Music Tattle Tale, NashvilleGab, and countless others out there -- we are the fans, we are the public voice of a lot of fans, we are country music lovers and supporters and we support her.
Chely Wright has fully embraced the gay community since officially coming out in 2010 - and later marrying her partner in 2011 - and through her LikeMe Organization will be officially launching the very first LikeMe Lighthouse community center on March 10th in Kansas City.
According to the press release, the Lighthouse will serve as a safe haven and welcoming community center for the Kansas City LGBT community, their families and straight allies. The Lighthouse will be open seven days a week: Monday-Saturday from 11am -7pm and Sunday from 12pm-6pm.
Chely will attend the grand opening events which are scheduled to begin on Friday, March 9th, with a screening and Q&A of Wish Me Away, the documentary about her coming out. Then on Saturday there will be the official ribbon cutting ceremony which will also feature Alan Cumming, the actor who holds a special place in my heart from playing Sandy in "Romy and Michele's High School Reunion", and on Sunday there will be a HOH8 photo shoot.

Fan Fair, or CMA Country Fest as it's officially known these days, may be taking place this week and weekend, but that doesn't mean that every famous country singer is attending.
LeAnn Rimes and Chely Wright will both be in Milwaukee this weekend headlining the 24th annual PrideFest. LeAnn will take the stage on Sunday at 7 P.M., with Chely performing as her opening act.
More than 30,000 people are expected to attend the three-day event with LeAnn being the very first country act to headline the gay pride festival.
On a side note, did you know Chely got engaged back in April? I'm apparently behind the times.
