Wynonna Judd is now a married lady

Congratulations to Wynonna Judd who got married in a sunset wedding June 10 on her farm in Tennessee. 

Us Weekly has all the details in their upcoming issue: 

For her third walk down the aisle, the country crooner, 48, donned a Houri Barahimi dress -- and no shoes! A drummer in Judd's band, The Big Noise, 55-year old (Cactus) Moser was cowboy chic in his tuxedo, which he accessorized with a vest, pocket watch and holster.

"I felt a joy that hasn't been there before," Judd gushes to Us of the intimate bash -- where attendees included her kids from previous marriages Grace, 16, and Elijah, 17. (Her sister Ashley Judd and mom Naomi Judd were not on hand for the bash.)

Dating since 2009, Judd and Moser announced their engagement last December.  Judd divorced her second husband, D.R. Roach after four years in 2007, and split from businessman Arch Kelly III -- with whom she has two children -- in 1998.

Jake Owen figures the best way to make people forget his weekend arrest is to get hitched

Well Jake Owen certainly has this whole celebrity thing figured out...yep, the best way to make the world forget that you got drunked up and handcuffed over the weekend is to marry your sweetheart in a romantic sunrise ceremony.  

And the world says awwww.

In case you hadn't heard, Jake was in Florida this weekend for a concert.  While there, he had a little too much Cinco de Mayo fun on Saturday and ended up getting arrested -or more like detained for a bit.  He even tweeted during the whole embarrassing episode (and Tweeted a picture of himself in cuffs). 

After a few angry tweets, Jake apologized to his fans and the sheriff who arrested him (who Jake had also griped about) and then erased the rant from his Twitter account.

Well now word has hit the web that on Monday morning, Jake made an honest woman of his lovely fiancé, Lacey Buchanan, by marrying her in a romantic sunrise beach ceremony in Jake's hometown of Vero Beach, Florida.   

According to People.com:

The bride, 22, wore an Amsale gown and veil and the groom was casual in a white linen Armani shirt and Tommy Bahama drawstring pants – though both were barefoot on the beach as the sun rose over the ocean. 

"That was my idea, because it's symbolic of the dawn of a new day and starting our new life together," Owen told PEOPLE. 

According to People, the wedding was a family affair with Lacey's sister Leah acting as maid of honor and Jake's twin Jarrod serving as best man. Jake's uncle Ron officiated.

"I'm looking forward to being a husband, someone his wife relies and leans on," Jake's quoted as saying.

Now the couple is headed for parts unknown for a honeymoon before Jake hits the road with Tim McGraw and Kenny Chesney for their Brothers of the Sun Tour.  

How sweet and romantic, almost as sweet and romantic as the couple's spontaneous engagement back in April.

Jake Owen gets engaged at Florida concert

Well everybody, here's your awwww story of the day.  

On Saturday evening, Jake Owen played a makeup concert in his hometown of Vero Beach, Florida. The concert, which was held to raise money for the Mardy Fish Foundation and the Jake Owen Foundation to help support both after-school programs and St. Jude's, had originally been scheduled to take place December 10th but unfortunately was rained out. The postponement turned out to be a good thing for fans, though, because the hometown crowd got to see a very romantic moment.

Jake brought his girlfriend Lacey Buchanan up on stage and serenaded her with Don’t Think I Can’t Love You and then got down on one knee and popped the question.

See...awwwww.

Lacey, of course, said yes, because honestly, who could turn down Jake on one knee?   

Jake later tweeted: I'm a happy man. Life is complete.

Danny Gokey marries one of the Olsen Twins

Okay, Danny Gokey didn't actually marry one of the Olsen Twins (you know, the Full House stars/mega gazillionaires, Mary Kate and Ashley), but he did marry a lovely lady named Leyicet Peralta over the weekend who just happens to bear a striking resemblance to the mini moguls, at least in the above picture (in other pictures, not so much). 

According to People.com, Danny said "I do" this past Sunday in Florida in front of family and friends.  

"We are so thankful to have found each other and now be able to spend the rest of our lives together," the newlyweds tell PEOPLE in a statement. "We pray our gratitude grows more every day because there is so much for us to do now." 

Danny was married once before, but lost his first wife Sophia in 2008 after surgery for a congenital heart disease.

Edens Edge member gets engaged in a most romantic way

Awww, congratulations to Edens Edge member Hannah Blaylock whose boyfriend of three years, Justin, popped the question in a most romantic way while the couple were on vacation in Florida with friends recently.   

Hannah couldn't hardly contain her excitement and took to the band's blog to let fans know about her engagement. 

Break out the bubbly boys because Randy Houser got hitched

Well a big ol' congratulations going out to Randy Houser who got married to his fiancé, Jessa Lee Yantz, on Friday in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.  

People.com reports that the couple, who announced their engagement in July, were married in front of 20 family members and close friends and had their buddy Rob Hatch perform the sunset ceremony.  The couple reportedly sealed the deal with vows they wrote themselves. 

Well sheesh, I never even got to talk about that 300-diamond engagement ring.  That'll teach me to procrastinate.  

Lauren Alaina got married over the weekend!

Well she did for one night anyway. 

This is too sweet.  While in Providence, Rhode Island over the weekend, AI runner-up 16-year-old cutie Lauren Alaina was proposed to by an equally cute 17-year-old Zack Tremblay.  

Lauren was surprised at first but then accepted since it was just a one-night gig.

Kellie Pickler put the screws to a network when she eloped

Well here's a story I hadn't heard before....Kellie Pickler's wedding day was meant to be part of a TV special.  You know, the big wedding that never happened?  Yeah, that one.  

Kellie Pickler ran off and married her new hubby, Kyle Jacobs , in a most romantic way by eloping and getting hitched on 1/1/11 on a beach in the Caribbean.  

Well come to find out this was a very last minute thing to do and the two were actually in the process of taping their wedding preparations for a reality show, or at least a network TV wedding special. 

Ooops, sucks to be the unnamed network!

Kellie told Arizona's KMLE recently: "Kyle and I were planning a big wedding, we had already done all the planning actually. There was a TV show, big, huge network that was documenting the whole wedding planning. We had the church booked, the flowers, the cake, everything, and it just didn't feel right, it's just not me.  I never wanted this big, elaborate wedding." 

She goes on to say, "Having a TV show film the whole thing, it was just so stressful....so we ended up calling our wedding planner and seeing if she could ax the whole thing."

Awww. It seems to have all worked out in the end, but I bet the TV network wasn't too thrilled. Wonder if they went along to tape the elopement?  That could still make a killer wedding special.  

You do have to love a celebrity who isn't afraid to stick it to the man once in a while. Power to the Pickler!

If Kellie looks a little green around the gills in the video, this was shot on the same day when she had to cancel a television appearance because of food poisoning, so I'm thinking she wasn't feeling totally up to par.

Chely Wright tweets her beautiful wedding photo

Okay, seriously, this is one reason why lesbian weddings should be legal everywhere....two brides make for a much more beautiful wedding photo than a bride and groom ever can. 

Just sayin'. 

Chely Wright and her girlfriend of a year Lauren Blitzer made honest women of each other when the pair tied the knot in a ceremony at Lauren's aunt’s home in Connecticut on Saturday.

Kellie Pickler is enjoying married life

Awww.  Kellie Pickler is still enjoying being a newlywed, which is good since she's only been married since January. 

“It’s better than what I thought it would be,” Pickler tells Taste of Country. “I never thought I’d be at this particular place in my life, so that’s a real surprise for me, and I’m glad I jumped because I’m so very happy with Kyle. I can’t complain as far as he and I go. I’ve been really, really blessed as far as that’s concerned. He’s my best friend, so I think that’s the first rule of marriage is you’ve got to make sure you are marrying your best friend.”

I have to say that as someone who has been married for nearly 18 years, I always find the love that exudes from every pore of a newlywed intoxicating.  Now if Kellie can just survive it when Kyle gets to that inevitable stage of masculine marriage development when they suddenly lose the ability to hit the clothes hamper with their dirty socks and closing the door to pee takes far too much effort, then I think she'll be a-ok.
