Hey guys, for the last couple of days I've been jammin' to the Zac Brown Band's new CD 'Uncaged'. It's really an awesome piece of work!
That said, I am definitely happy to have two copies to give away to you guys.

It's already been announced that the Zac Brown Band will be performing for the MLB All-Star Game Home Run Derby in Kansas City next week, but now more performers have been announced for the All-Star Game.
Both country and non-country artists include:
Luke Bryan will sing the national anthem.
Kellie Pickler will perform "God Bless America" during the 7th inning stretch.
This season's "American Idol" winner Phillip Phillips will perform a special on-field performance of his song Home before the game starts. Reportedly there will be a tribute playing during the song that highlights tornado recovery efforts in nearby Joplin, Mo., and Tuscaloosa, Ala.
Those three performances will air Tuesday on Fox.
The night before is the Home Run Derby where David Cook, American Idol 7th season winner, is set to sing the national anthem before the game begins.
Also on hand will be the previously announced Zac Brown Band who will sing Chicken Fried and The Wind. The Chicken Fried portion of their performance will air on the MLB Network to close out "MLB Tonight: All-Star Edition." The Wind portion of their performance will air on ESPN on Monday.
Earlier this month I had brought you the first image of the Zac Brown Band's album artwork for their upcoming "Uncaged" CD, and boy was it a doozy.
Well it turns out that the album artwork really IS a work of art and not just an out-there drawing by some unnamed person who was high on anesthesia after getting dental work done.
Frank and Zeus both left comments on my earlier post with the name and website of the artist -- Brandon Maldonado. The painting (?) on "Uncaged" is called Our Lady of Merciful Fate.
Kind of cool now that the initial shock and wonder is wearing off.
You can buy limited prints of similar artwork for $50 from the artist's website at BrandonMaldonado.com. "Uncaged" hits stores July 10th.
If you head over to Amazon.com, you can download the Zac Brown Band's wonderful "The Foundation" album for $4.99. May end today so you might want to get on the ball if you're wanting this album.
Man, those Walmart execs know how to party. Every year at their shareholder meetings in Fayetteville, Arkansas, they manage to bring in some of the biggest names in music, and this year was no different.
Last week on various days, Carrie Underwood, Aerosmith, Celine Dion, Lionel Richie, the Zac Brown Band, Taylor Swift, and several others made appearances to play for Walmart employees.
I've watched several of the videos of the stars performing, and the one that has got to be the cutest is Justin Timberlake interviewing random shopper Taylor Swift.
"My name is Taylor, I'm from Nashville," Taylor "bashfully" told Justin Timberlake, the meeting's host, after he introduced her to the crowd. Justin fake mockingly piped back, "I guess if you're a singer and you live in Nashville, you're probably a songwriter, too?" The songstress replied, "Yeah, and I have six Grammys, too," before Justin joked, "Waitress!!"
Makes you wonder if Taylor had any butterflies going on considering her admission that Justin was her teen crush on the Ellen DeGeneres show back in 2009.
Check out the video below. You can find more info and loads of pictures on Walmart's website. You can also watch videos of some of the Walmart performers on YouTube.
“When I got the call, my wife and I stopped what we were doing and started dancing around the kitchen of our house, we were so excited,” said singer/songwriter James Otto about the news his co-penned song “No Hurry” would be the new single release off of GRAMMY/CMA/ACM award-winning group the Zac Brown Band’s latest album, You Get What You Give. The heartening, ‘slow-down-and-smell-the-roses’ ballad is the fifth single from You Get What You Give and hits radio airwaves this week, joining the race to become the band's tenth consecutive No. 1 single on country radio.
