Sugarland at the parade
Finally! Here's Sugarland's Macy's performance of "Already Gone" from yesterday. Thanks to Kountry for the link. Now I'm just missing Darius' performance.

Hmm, I had no clue. OK! Magazine has a little piece about what the stars are doing for Thanksgiving and they have Lady Antebellum's Charles Kelley talking about his unexpected (well to me at least) family ties...
Lady Antebellum's Charles Kelley will spend the day with brother Josh Kelley and his wife Katherine Heigl – in addition to about sixty members of his family and friends.
“We’ve got a lot of turkeys and hams, and I’m always the one out there playing basketball and baseball with all the little nephews and nieces and all the little kids,” Charles tells me.
What’s Katherine like as a sister-in-law? “She’s great! She’s awesome. It’ll be fun.”
The magazine also talked with Jennifer Nettles....
Sugarland’s Jennifer Nettles can’t wait to taste green bean casserole this holiday, but Kerry Washington is all about the turkey. “Turkey really does make you sleepy,” she tells me. “It has that chemical in it. What’s better than eating a big meal and then falling asleep on the couch? It’s fantastic. That’s the best thing about Thanksgiving – everybody’s dazed and confused after their meal.” But don’t expect Kerry to slave away in the kitchen. “When it comes to cooking, I make an excellent reservation.”
And Darius Rucker....
Thanksgiving is on top of the list for Darius Rucker.
“Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday because the eating – I love everything about it,” the Hootie and the Blowfish singer tells me. “Down South, we have macaroni and cheese and the stuffing and turkey and collard greens, okra soup and all the stuff that I love. I love Thanksgiving. Then you get three football games. What a great day! Thanksgiving’s a great day.”
Yes, I'm blond and proud of it. Sometimes, though, I'm not so proud of my so called "blond moments." Yes, I can be stereotypical occasionally.
Last night I got an email from a reader who mentioned that Sugarland will also be part of the Macy's Day Parade. Well when I read the email I read it like it was a question and emailed back to say I'd check into it. Well duh, got an email this morning that it wasn't a question, the reader was actually sending me valuable info. LOL. Oh, duh! I re-read the email and sure enough it wasn't a question it was something I should have added last night. Gadzooks!
Anyway, about 250 lucky Sugarland fans got to be part of a mini-concert in New York that the duo shot on November 18. They taped their songs for the Macy's Day Parade broadcast on Thanksgiving on CBS. So now you can add Sugarland to Darius Rucker and Trace Adkins as appearing on the famous parade.
Check out more photos from the shoot here.
Note/update: Okay, eventually I will get this all straightened out and be on the right track. Sugarland shot their mini-concert for the CBS Thanksgiving Day Parade and Not Macy's. I really should have picked up on that since I've talked several times about Macy's being on NBC. Anyhoo, I think I've got it fingered out now. Darius and Trace on NBC and Sugarland on CBS. By George I think I've got it!
Pure excitement. More Sugarland CMA pics here.
The girls over at CMIL sure do get to go to a lot of great concerts. As always, I'm completely jealous. They also give a great review and have great pictures of the concerts they visit.
Last night one of them got to head over and check out the Sugarland, Ashton Shepherd, and Kellie Pickler concert so head on over and check out what they had to say here.
Kelli Pickler and Sugarland performed November 6 at the Veterans Memorial Arena in Florida. Jacksonville.com has a great bunch of pictures from the concert you can check out here.
Tattoo on Jennifer's wrist says Believe. Jennifer also has a flower on her stomach that you can check out here. As soon as I find a good pic of it I'll add it.
