So did they or didn't they?
After Rascal Flatts performed at Sunday night's ACM Awards, the word on the street was that they had lip synced their performance. Being one who has never been hugely against lip syncing, I didn't even bother to take a second look at their performance video.
Well it turns out that the Flatts Boys aren't even denying that they faked it and that they did it really, really badly.
If you're a huge Rascal Flatts fan or are prone to overreacting, you may want to divert your eyes for a few minutes because this news might just freak you out a bit.
While on the way to a radio appearance, the boys of Rascal Flatts had a bit of mechanical trouble that grounded them temporarily.
Yeah, not much is more unsettling than finding out the plane you're supposed to take off in is having mechanical issues. Been there, done that.
Oh wait, finding out mid-flight that your plane is having mechanical issues would probably be much, much more unsettling.
A later tweet from Joe Don revealed that the boys had ended up at their destination without any more problems: Dinner in Baltimore!!! @WPOC Oh so good! @rascalflatts #Rewind radio tour back on track!!!
Good to hear.
The trio will be heading out on their Rewind Tour 2014 with Sheryl Crow and Gloriana starting in May.

Twitter was on fire tonight with people that were at the Brad Paisley show in Florida because Brad invited some special friends on stage to join him! It was also on fire with some people who had sold their tickets and were a little on the unhappy side to find out that Brad pulled a double whammy and brought in Rascal Flats AND Carrie Underwood! You gotta love that...I mean if you were there. If you weren't...well don't put anything past Brad to make his shows the best they can be!

Rascal Flatts are rewinding a bit in 2014 and announced today that they will be heading out later this year on their Rewind Tour 2014. The tour will kick off May 16th in St. Louis, Missouri with special guest Sheryl Crow, and with Gloriana opening.
A label rep stopped by the station yesterday to play the new single from Rascal Flatts, my co-host Cory was lucky enough to be in the room.
Country stars tend to get a lot of honors thrown their way, but this is definitely one that not a lot of singers can say they've had.
Gary LeVox, Jay DeMarcus, and Joe Don Rooney all come from various parts of the state.
Funny enough, the week previous, Rep. Nick Barborak, a Democrat, introduced House Bill 330 that would make the song “Ohio” by Zachary J. Paxson the official country song of the state.
Apparently Ohio officials love their country music.
No word on when either bill will be voted on (or if they already have), but what an honor if they go through.
The 19th Annual ICM Faith, Family & Country™ Awards were held tonight at The Fellowship at Two Rivers to honor artists, songwriters, radio personalities and others in the genres of Christian and Inspirational Country Music. Winners included Rascal Flatts for “Mainstream Inspirational Country Song” and “Video,” Martina McBride for “Mainstream Country Female Artist” and Scotty McCreery for “Mainstream Country Male Artist,” along with the top Inspirational Country Music artists: Kali Rose, Tommy Brandt, Mary James, The Roys and many more. On Thursday, Taylor Swift surprised Nashville fans with Luke Bryan who came on stage with her to perform for the crowd of about 14,000. On Friday, Swift had another surprise for fans ... Rascal Flatts. The trio joined Taylor for the second of her three sold out concerts in Nashville to sing their hit What Hurts The Most. Check out the video below.
Taylor has one more show in Nashville tonight (and probably one more special guest) before she takes a short break. She then packs her bags and her passport and heads to New Zealand and Australia in November for more shows on her Red Tour.
