While performing Sunday night at Houston's Freedom Festival, Pat was presented with the "Decade Award" by the Texas Music Chart for having the most Texas radio airplay in the first decade of the Music Chart. Pat's music played an amazing 269,783 on Texas radio stations which works out to a Pat Green song playing on the radio somewhere in Texas every seven minutes in the first decade of the Chart's existence. I'm so much happier being on the blogger side of things rather than the money and record label side of things because I really don't understand some of the things that go on. For example, according to That Nashville Sound, a press release was sent out to Country Aircheck today that said BNA records and Pat Green had amicably parted ways. Really? Why? Today seems to be the day for free concerts. It's being whispered that there will be a surprise Pat Green show at the Stage tonight and right afterwards the Lost Trailers will be at the Second Fiddle, both on Lower Broadway in Nashville. Pat will start at 10 PM and the the Trailers will go on right after – sometime between 11:30 and midnight.
