Photo: Facebook Thoughts and prayers going out to The Oak Ridge Boys' deep-voiced wonder, Richard Sterban, who unfortunately lost his mother on Monday, September 1. The band's Facebook page broke the news on Tuesday. We extend sincere condolences to Richard Sterban and his family on the loss of his mother, Victoria Sterban. She will be greatly missed by everyone at Oak Ridge Boys, Inc. According to her obituary, Victoria was 94 years young and was an avid sun bather who loved to watch her son perform. Yesterday, news hit that comedian Rosie O'Donnell would be returning to The View after quitting the show several years ago. The extensive collection of honors and awards keep rolling in for The Oak Ridge Boys. An official RIAA commemorative plaque certifying Gold, Platinum, and Multi-Platinum album and single sales has been awarded to the Grammy-winning group in celebration of more than 41 million album sales worldwide. The Oak Ridge Boys had a bit of bus trouble on Friday morning in Oklahoma after the tread came off of one of their bus' front tires, leaving them stranded on the side of the highway in Pawhuska, Oklahoma. Fortunately, Grape Ape was available to help. Okay, it wasn't THAT Grape Ape that helped out, but rather it was The Grape Ape wrecker service that came to the band's rescue and changed their tire. The Craven Country Jamboree began yesterday in Regina, SK, Canada, and unfortunately had to make a last-minute replacement. Randy Travis was scheduled to appear at the festival, but due to his life-threatening medical issues right now the festival had to scramble to find someone to take his place.
