Jake Owen's new tattoo documented by new country artist

New country artist, Tyler Reeve, gave us a glimpse of a beer-fueled tattoo session Jake Owen recently had.

Back on July 20th, Tyler Tweeted about Jake Owen getting a new tattoo.

All I can say is thank goodness Twitter didn't exist when I was doing crazy stuff like getting tattoos after an evening of drinking (yes, I have a tattoo that also involved a little alcoholic encouragement. Don't ask).

Divorce does a body good

I was going to say cheating does a body good, but I'm making a conscious effort to be nicer so thought I would hold my tonge. 

Besides, LeAnn's now divorced so I spose it's time to let sleeping dogs lie....or something like that.

Anyway, LeAnn showed her bangin' bikini bod this weekend while taking in a little pool time with Eddie and his boys. 

LeAnn's also sporting a little ink on the hip there.  Wasn't sure I'd ever seen the tattoo before so I had to go see if I could find some pictures of it.  

Turns out LeAnn's actually got two tattoos (that I know of), a tattoo on her wrist that reportedly says trust and then she's got some mysterious thing on her hip.  It looks like Initials but I can't be sure.  Anyone have a clue?

It must be new or Shape Magazine photoshopped the tat out because it wasn't there when she appeared on the cover of Shape with Martina and Julianne.  

Lady A talk tattoos and American Idol

Okay, let's just get this out of the way first, Dave Haywood has a tattoo on his derriere, something I'm sure I will never get a picture of (and not too sure I'd want it if I was given it).  Now onto the other two Lady A'ers with more visible ink. 

Charles Kelley tells The Boot that his tattoo on his right arm is a phrase with a meaning for him. "It says 'All your life, you were only waiting for this moment to arise.' It's from 'Blackbird,' a song by the Beatles."

"We had just had such an amazing year. All these things had started to happen and I had such an interesting journey. I felt like my whole life had been leading up to this."

Hillary has the number 14 tattooed on her right wrist (she also has a tattoo of a musical note on her foot you can see here).  She says the #14 has meaning to her for a couple of reasons.  "It is a special number to me. That is the age difference in me and my only sibling, me and my little sister. I want to be like her when I grow up; she's very confident in who she is and her personality and she's just amazing.

"And 14 is how old I was when I really felt called to sing and do this for a living, so it's a constant reminder of being called to do this and the importance of that. Plus my little sister is with me all the time."

And what about that Dave Haywood ass-ink?  It may or may not be true, Lady A's publicist stepped in before Dave could actually speak about it.

And while I'm talking about the trio, here they are chatting with Sirius XM where they defend American Idol because talent is talent, no matter how it's found.

"Man, talent's talent's talent," Charles Kelley says. "I mean, it's so hard to get a break. I think that show honestly is one of the greatest things. I truly do."

Makes you kind of wonder if the group has an upcoming Idol appearance, eh.

Gary Allan ups the ante on my Gary vs. Blake Shelton crush race

Oh my crush race is definitely heating up. 

Blake had won my heart after his mildly intoxicated but totally endearing video chat the other day.  But then comes this video of Gary doing an interview about his new CD "Get Off On The Pain" while getting some new ink.  So. Friggin'. Sexy.

However will Blake top that?  Don't know about you but I'm totally excited to find out.

Kellie sports some new ink

 The other day Kellie Pickler teased us on her Twitter by announcing, "Got some new ink. ;-)," but she didn't share any more details or pictures.

Oh how my mind ran wild with thoughts of butterflies, unicorns, giant tigers eating ex-boyfriends.  I just couldn't stand not knowing what new tattoo Kellie was sporting.

Well it's not as exciting as I had hoped, but we finally got a glimpse of her new ink.  It's a third star on her left arm to commemorate her most recent USO tour overseas to entertain the troops. 

Kellie had said about her previous two stars, "Many of you know that I am involved with the USO and have been on two USO tours overseas to entertain the troops," she writes. "So I got a star to represent each visit."

Can't wait to see what she does after her 15th or 16th overseas tour.  Might get interesting.  Here's the only picture I've been able to find.  Megan posted it on Kelliefans.com.
