Five months after giving birth to son Magnus Hamilton, Sugarland's Jennifer Nettles has finally shared a picture of her little man.

Jennifer tweeted the photo along with:

"I’m so excited!” Jennifer tells People in an upcoming interview. “He’s super, super sweet. We made a deal before he was born. I said, ‘Look, you can cook as long as you want, as long as you come out and latch like it’s your job and have a sweet demeanor.’ He kept his part of the bargain!”

People Magazine will feature more photos and a full article of Jennifer sharing how she's coping being a new mom in an upcoming article in their magazine out this Friday.

Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman have an A-list play date with their girls and some celebrity friends

Oh to be the child of a superstar ... or better yet, the child of a pair of superstars!

Before Sunday's Grammys, Keith Urban and wife Nicole Kidman decided to throw a party for their daughters Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret. 

Why? 

Why not?

E! Online is reporting that on Saturday, the day before the Grammy Awards, Keith and Nicole threw a party (or at least had a fun get together) for their daughters at Giggles N' Hugs children's restaurant at Century City mall in L.A. But this wasn't just any kid's party, it was an A-list kid's party attended by celebrity friends such as Naomi Watts and her significant other Liev Schreiber and their kids as well as Babyface and his kiddos.

So nice that even being as busy as these two are they are still able find the time to give their daughters fun play dates/parties.

Baby news!

It's not very often that we get to celebrate those behind the famous people, so it's always nice to get a bit of good news from the realm of the band. 

Mike Meadows, banjo and guitar player in Taylor Swift's band, The Agency, and his wife Brittany welcomed their first child, a daughter, into the world on Friday, September 21.

According to The Swift Agency, Mike, the dutiful dad and band member that he is, was there for the birth and then flew out the next day so he could join Taylor when she played Vegas at the iHeartRadio Music Festival.

Mike and his wife shared the happy news on Twitter.

Alan Jackson's daughter arrested in Nashville for DUI

Tsk. Tsk. Tsk.

Alan Jackson's eldest daughter, Mattie, was arrested August 19th in Nashville for an alleged DUI.

I came across this story yesterday, but the original news story on Nashville's ABC station had been removed. I was thinking perhaps they had the wrong Mattie Jackson or something like that, but after doing a public records search this morning and comparing the accused's birthday and full name, I found that it was in fact Jackson's daughter so I'm not quite sure why the original story was removed. 

Anyway, the police officer's affidavit states that 22-year-old Mattie was observed to be driving 45 in a 30 mph zone. The officer attempted to pull Mattie over but she kept going for quite a ways. When she finally stopped, the officer said, "I detected a strong odor coming from the interior of the vehicle that appeared to be the odor of an alcoholic beverage. I also observed she had red blood shot eyes, slurred speech and watery eyes. I asked her where she was coming from and she stated from her boyfriend's house. Then I asked her if she had consumed any alcoholic beverage to which she stated that she had consumed 3 beers prior to operating her vehicle."

Mattie was observed and tested for 21 minutes before being given a breath test and then being arrested. The affidavit says that Mattie initially refused the breathalyzer test until being explained the consequences of refusing, at which point she agreed to have it done.

Mattie was released on $2000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court November 20.  

Let's hope this was just an oops and she learned her lesson.

Awwwww!!!! Dixie Chicks' Emily Robison tweets first picture of new daughter

In case you hadn't heard the news yet, Emily Robison of the Dixie Chicks and Courtyard Hounds had her baby on Tuesday. 

Emily and her boyfriend Martin made the announcement on the Dixie Chicks' Facebook: 

Emily Robison and Martin Strayer are ecstatic to announce the birth of their new baby girl, Violet Isabel Strayer. Violet was born at 3:01am on September 4, 2012 weighing 8.5 lbs. Mom and baby Violet are doing well and Dad couldn't be happier!

Well I got nosy, as I usually do, and headed over to Emily's personal Twitter account and lo and behold she had tweeted a picture of little Violet Isabel yesterday. 

How sweet, sweet, sweet. 

Joy Williams from The Civil Wars shows off new son

The Civil Wars singer, Joy Williams, gave birth to son Miles Alexander Yetton back on June 30 and yesterday People.com gave fans their first look at the sweet little guy. 

Joy says the birth was pretty easy and says labor started thanks to a hot theater. 

“I did it all naturally and really loved the experience. My husband [Nate Yetton] and I had just gone to the Belcourt to see the new Wes Anderson movie, and the air conditioning was out in the theater,” the female half of The Civil Wars tells PEOPLE. “I was so hot! I started feeling tiny pressure waves during the film, but they abated over time.”

Fast forward hours later and she was almost ready to deliver.

“The [contractions] woke me up at about 1:30 in the morning. And then those really gradual pressure waves grew to ‘Okay, I think it’s time to call the doula!’ It happened pretty quickly and it went really well,” Williams, 29, says. “I had a midwife and a doula. Nate was a champion of champions and so supportive and present.”

Miles Alexander is the first child for Joy and her husband, Civil Wars manager Nate Yetton.

Oh Twitter, you reveal such odd things about the stars we love...or love to hate. 

So Miley Cyrus has been tweeting odd things the last few weeks...OK, scratch that, she's always tweeted kind of off the wall things, but lately since Instagram hit the world stage, her tweets have gotten more creative. 

Okay, I'm actually talking out my a$$, I don't know what she usually tweets since I don't think I follow her (or maybe I do but never actually see her tweets) and just glean bits and pieces off the internet when people start questioning her sanity.

This recent tweet was definitely strange, especially considering the covergirl on the Playboy she is reading just happens to be Dolly Parton, her Godmother.

I guess it's not so bad since I can't imagine Dolly actually went full on Playboy Bunny in the issue, but still, kind of an odd TwitPic. 

On a side note, did you know that Dolly's issue of Playboy was Fox News' #4 favorite cover ever?

Jesse Keith Whitley starts new son out right with a visit to the Grand Ole Opry

As I told you a few days ago, Jesse Keith Whitley and his lovely wife Ashlee welcomed new son "Tuff" into the family on July 8th. 

Jesse is of course the son of the late Keith Whitley and Lorrie Morgan and like any country singer son of country singer legends, Jesse took the newest generation to the Grand Ole Opry to mingle with a few more country stars.  

Jesse posted some pictures to his Facebook tonight including the one above, saying: Tuff Whitley (me) Brantley and Justin backstage at the Opry.

All the pictures are cute as can be except for this one -- I'm a little afraid Lee Brice is considering kidnapping Lil' Tuff.  

Billy Ray Cyrus spends his weekend at the hospital with son

Wow, hope everything's okay in the Cyrus household. 

It's been revealed that Billy Ray's son, Braison Chance, had to spend the weekend in the hospital in LA for what's being described as heavy blood loss, although no reason for the blood loss has been explained.  

Today, Billy Ray took to his Twitter to share a picture of Braison along with: 

This was yesterday. Everything is O K now and he is home...but @braisonwukong was bleeding badly ! yfrog.com/oeu93ewj

The photo (here) shows Braison with blood dripping down his chin and wires hooked to his chest. 

The singer also tweeted his thanks to the medical staff who looked after his son, adding:

"Thanking God and all the fine doctors nurses and staff at Providence Saint Joseph hospital. Been a wild 24 hours..."

Sure hope it was just a case of boys being boys and nothing serious. I've had more than a few doctor/hospital visits for those types of moments.

UPDATE:  Braison himself tweeted this weekend about being hospitalized, saying:

Today was actually the most horrific day of my life. Honestly, I can’t sleep because I’m scared.

I got my tonsils out last week. Not sure what happened exactly but long story short my artery opened and I was bleed a lot. All good now.

Wow, that sounds much worse than just a case of a really bloody nose. Glad everything seems to be okay now.
