Wow, I do believe I'm smitten. Got this picture in a press release from John Michael Montgomery's peeps, but all I could do was look at the guy between John and Keith Anderson and go hubba, hubba, hubba. Yes, I'll admit that I drooled just a little bit.
I'm not usually a desperate housewife, but he's a cutie.
Anyway, now to do my job. The four guys above (Keith Anderson, Blake Wise, John Michael Montgomery and Trent Tomlinson) attended the 3rd Annual Country WeeklyFashion Show and Concert yesterday at The Wildhorse Saloon. The event raised money and awareness for Musicians On Call, a campaign that brings music directly to the bedsides of patients in hospitals.
Alright, now back to the drooling. I was curious about who this Mr. Blake Wise was so I did an in depth search and got some info on him. Yeah, that means I Googled him, that's my kind of in depth research. If you'd like to find out more about him, you can visit his MySpace here. You can also check out a short bio on Blake on Wrangler's (???) website here.
You're welcome.

John Michael Montgomery spent November 1 visiting soldiers at Guantanamo Bay, headlining the "Family Appreciation Weekend" concert and touring the base. He also spent time signing CDs, touring the detainment center, and visiting the Cuban-American border. John also detailed his time in a new collector's edition of Country Weekly.

I find this story hella funny.
Back in 2006, John Michael Montgomery was pulled over and charged with a DUI and carrying a concealed weapon (this is not the funny part).
The Lexington police officer, Joshua Cromer, who arrested Montgomery was later fired for some things he said about the arrest on his MySpace page (and the dumb ass pic he posted, see below).
Now Cromer has been arrested for the same exact thing (the funny part).
Police say Cromer tried to take the law into his own hands by blocking a car from leaving the scene of a hit and run. When officers showed up they suspected Cromer wasn't quite sober and gave him a sobriety test, which he failed. Loser.
On top of being an idiot for drinking and driving, the cops found a handgun in his car, for which he allegedly had no permit.
Moral of the story is don't drink and drive. I'll just let you come up with any more lessons you want to learn from this story.

John Michael Montgomery finished his 28-day stint in rehab and is already back on the road, making his first appearance on stage in Clarkston, Michigan. Hopefully he's all straightened out because rehab was only cool last year when all the "it" celebs were doing it.
According to Billboard, JMM stayed four weeks at Cumberland Heights, a Nashville facility which has also worked with Johnny Cash and Trace Adkins.
Next for the singer, he has a new album, "Time Flies" scheduled for release September 9.
