Jess just wants some sweat pants people

Have you ever went to Burger King and ordered a Mighty Kids Meal?  In case you don't know, Mighty Kids Meals are the McDonald's kids meal.  Well I have and I got schooled by the girl behind the counter that that was a McDonald's meal and not BK.  She was actually kind of annoyed that I had dared to call the BK kids' food by the McDonald's name.  Well for that reason I can totally sympathize with Jessica on this one.   

Staris reporting that Jessica went shopping at Niketown in Bev Hills.  Now if you can't tell by the name,Niketown is a Nike store selling only Nike products.  Poor Jessica had the audacity to ask the sales person where the Adidas sweat pants were.  Truly shocking!

Well of course a witness had to tell Star the "embarrassing" story and probably made $500 bucks on this story.  Yeah, that's celebritydom for you. 

Now if you'll excuse me I have to go figure out a way to spend my hard-earned $500 clams. 

Ha! I jest. 

Rascal Flatts pushing the envelope with Jessica Simpson

Some people have questioned why Rascal Flatts would choose Jessica Simpson as their upcoming tour partner, but the boys seem to know what they're doing. 

"We listened to tons of artists, but we felt that Jessica Simpson was a great fit for us and we thought it would be a good marriage for us so-to-speak," the band said, also hinting that Simpson could be collaborating with them on a song in their upcoming album.

"We like pushing the envelope," they said with a sly smile.

Well if nothing else, they have people talking and that's always a good thing.

Here's your daily dose of Jessica. 

Over on X17 they have video and pictures of Jess and her family in the room where Ashlee gave birth to the little Jungle Book Baby last night.  It's very covert and shot from a car up into the hospital window.  Kind of intrusive I think, but the cameras didn't really catch anything anyway.

Over on Gossip Rocks they have a happy look back at Jessica when she was still with exhubby, Nick Lachey (see picture above).

Jessica also spoke with Us Weekly and told them the baby is awesome. 

"Bronx is beyond precious.  I'm over the moon with joy. Life is a beautiful miracle."

Adds Jessica: "Ashlee and Pete and healthy, happy and enjoying every moment."

Jessica is officially an aunt

Okay, first off with the happy news.  Jessica's baby sister, Ashlee, gave birth to a bouncing baby boy last night at Cedars-Sanai in Cali.  The bad news is they named it Bronx Mowgli Wentz.  Mowgli?  Wow, uhmmm....unique.

The baby was born last night, November 20, and weighed in at 7 lbs, 11 oz.

"Ashlee, Pete and baby Bronx are all healthy and happy, and thank everyone for their well wishes!" a spokesperson was quoted as saying.

No word on if Baloo and Bagheera paid a visit or not.

So let me get this straight, now she DOESN'T want her picture taken?

Apparently Jess is not a fan of having her pic taken with no makeup on.

Jessica goes for the hookerish look

Now I'm in no way implying that Jess is any sort of lady of the night, just something off about this picture.  She looks older or thicker or pornish or something.  Maybe it's the shoes or the peg-leg pants or the shiny metallic-hued jacket that's throwing me off.

So Jessica's sister appears to still be pregnant

When is the girl gonna hatch?  Jessica was at a taping of The Ellen DeGeneres Show yesterday and told Ellen (via People) that they would more than likely be inducing soon. 

"They're going to have to. It's already developing really quick."  Maybe there is something to this whole they're an ass thing, because Ashlee's seriously been pregnant for a year.  Odd. 

Apparently they've been trying to induce labor the natural ways with "different foot massages and stuff," Jessica told DeGeneres in the show airing Wednesday. "I don't know. I think she's really just jumping around trying everything right now." 

I think it's time for the dramatic labor-inducing remedies like four-wheeling in the mud and sex, but not necessarily in that particular order. 

I just bet Papa Joe is about to have a coronary with both his cash-cow kids holed up for this whole birthing process.  He's probably ready to drag out a coat hanger to get things started himself if the doctor doesn't get on the ball soon.   

Jessica's Ellen appearance will air tomorrow.

Nothing's going on, let's talk about Jessica's pregnant sister

It's a Saturday which means it's a slow news day.  So let's talk babies. 

Jessica's baby sister, Ashlee, has been pregnant for about 27 months now and it's being reported that she may have finally popped.  Her husband was supposed to have made an appearance on Larry King Live Friday but canceled due to "breaking news and scheduling conflicts." 

So there you go, Jessica may or may not be an aunt.   

So where was Jessica Simpson?

TMZ has a really slamming report today about Jess not being at the CMAs.  Although I don't think she's as bad off as they make it out to be, I did kind of wonder where she was last night.  Anyone else notice her absense? 

As far as I know she's sticking pretty close to her sister who is about to pop out in California, but you would think she would have made an effort to take one night off and go to the CMAs. 

So was she in fact not invited?  I'm not sure how these things work, but I would think she would have gotten an invitation.  Was she just not feeling country last night, was she sticking close to her sister who could give birth at any minute, or was she actually not invited?
