James Otto Celebrates Release of Zac Brown Band's New Single "No Hurry" (press release)

“When I got the call, my wife and I stopped what we were doing and started dancing around the kitchen of our house, we were so excited,” said singer/songwriter James Otto about the news his co-penned song “No Hurry” would be the new single release off of GRAMMY/CMA/ACM award-winning group the Zac Brown Band’s latest album, You Get What You Give. The heartening, ‘slow-down-and-smell-the-roses’ ballad is the fifth single from You Get What You Give and hits radio airwaves this week, joining the race to become the band's tenth consecutive No. 1 single on country radio.

James%20%20Amy%20Otto

Hot damn, country music is becoming baby central lately.

People has the announcement today that James Otto and his wife of five years, Amy, are expecting their very first itty bitty Otto this August.

"Amy and I are so excited and feel so blessed," says the "Just Got Started Lovin' You" singer. "I am overwhelmed with joy at the idea of becoming a father! This is truly going to be an amazing, life-altering experience."

James Otto gives me my favorite Twit Pic ever

31646378

This has got to be my all-time favorite Twit Pic ever.  James Otto posted this picture of him, Blake Shelton, and Jamey Johnson on his Twitter with the accompanying Tweet... Not sure what we're laughing at but I'm sure the alcohol was helping.

Not sure what they're drinking, but I'd sure like to have some of it right about now.

Fan review - Randy Houser and James Otto with a little Jamie Johnson thrown in for good measure

Jamey and otto

Busy gal around town, Elizabeth, was lucky enough to see James Otto, Randy Houser, and Jamie in Nashville last night and then was nice enough to send a few pics and a review. Thanks Elizabeth!

Last Night was the annual Buds-n-Suds event at Losers in Nashville featuring James Otto and Randy Houser. Buds-n-Suds benefits the Tennessee Chapter of the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America. What an awesome show! James Otto took the stage first and played a great set. Otto sang singles, "Just Got Started Lovin You," "For You," "Since You Brought It Up" as well as some new stuff that will be on his new album coming out in late September. Also, two favorites "You Don't Act Like My Woman," which he wrote with brother-in-law Jay DeMarcus and "Drink & Dial," which he wrote with buddy John Rich. Look for a lot more Memphis style country soul to come from this man!

In the middle of Otto's set, he invited Jamey Johnson to come on stage. Jamey sang fan favorite "In Color," which he wrote with Otto.

Randy Houser closed the show. I had to leave early, so don't have much on him, but I didn't leave until I heard "Already Gone!" Randy's stage presence is improving, and everyone should check him out during his upcoming CMT tour with Jamey Johnson!
