According to Fox News the # 1 country fued belonged to the Eric Church vs Miranda Lambert/Carrie Underwood debacle. I'm sure this was largely in part to Miranda's fierce reaction to his statements, which did cause Eric to offer an explanation apology for his comments to make things right in the world. Well, kinda. Eric's name does seem to be associated with drama on occasion. Remember that whole weird Taylor Swift video he did then took down? Yeah.
If you don't remember exactly what happened, here's a refresher: Rolling Stones asked the 'Springsteen' singer how he felt about reality singing competition shows. Mr. Church responded, "Honestly, if Blake Shelton and Cee Lo Green f---ing turn around in a red chair, you got a deal? That's crazy. I don't know what would make an artist do that. You're not an artist."
And wasting no time, Miranda was quick to defend herself and others and said, "Thanks Eric Church for saying I'm not a real artist. Or Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood and Keith Urban."
So naturally Eric, maybe in fear that a ticked off country girl could probably do some serious damage, responded with, "The comment I made to Rolling Stone was part of a larger commentary on these types of reality television shows and the perception they create, not the artists involved with the shows themselves. The shows make it appear that artists can shortcut their way to success."
Not sure if that's as juicy as some of the other fueds, but regardless glad it's water under the bridge now!

And there it is. I wondered how long it would be before photos or video of Trace Adkins' argument on board the cruise ship surfaced.
The boat docked yesterday so the fact that it took until today, a day later, for anything to make its way onto the web is actually pretty surprising.
Well TMZ has officially posted the first pictures of the fight. Looks like some in-your-face yelling maybe, but not much else. You can see more over on TMZ.
Update: Love & Theft's Stephen Barker Liles has pretty much confirmed in a new interview what I suspected in writing this story ... Trace had gotten angry at Larsen for shadowing him for so long and following him to the cruise. Stephen also said that the guy had started signing autographs with Trace's name. Thankfully he says no punches were thrown between the two men.
As you've probably heard by now, Trace Adkins' cruise this week ended up being anything but smooth sailing and Trace has since checked himself into rehab for alcohol.
Since yesterday, I've heard from multiple people who are on the cruise that Trace was asked to leave the ship and didn't just leave because he felt the need to head to rehab. I'm happy he's gone back to rehab, no matter how he got there, but since yesterday I've been kind of curious what the story is with the guy Trace got into the tussle with.
Up until now, all we've known him as is a Trace Adkins impersonator and that's been about it.
Well in this day and age it doesn't take long for things to get around so now let me introduce you to Michael Larsen, the impersonator who is probably on minute 2 of his now quickly ticking away 15 who riled up country's resident gentle giant, Trace Adkins.

I absolutely love Twitter. It keeps me informed and entertained. Every once in awhile a user can’t help but stumble upon a nice little Twitter War going on between other users. And what can I say, you know we all love a good Twitter War. Today (January 14) it looks like a feud somewhat broke out between morning radio host Bobby Bones (The Bobby Bones Show) and country music’s Kacey Musgraves.
In the high school drama that is Taylor Swift's life, Justin Bieber just upped the anty in the always rolling war of words by sending Taylor a bit of stink eye in the form of a new song he recently released that's supposed to be all about her.
At least the internet says it's about Taylor, so it has to be true. Just has to be.
Uh oh, looks like someone needs an Oprah intervention.
Back in March of this year, David Allan Coe was in a pretty serious car wreck. Story was he ran a red light and was hit by a semi.
So yeah, bad.
Since March, though, I hadn't heard anything more about the accident until I got an email from Coe's son, Tyler, saying there was more to whole the story ... not about the wreck itself but apparently what's been going on since then.
Talk show host Wendy Williams is finding out the hard way that you don't mess with Wynonna Judd's sister.
Wendy Williams posted a video to her Twitter account yesterday where she was talking about celebrity events in the news. She eventually began talking about Wynonna Judd's sister, actress Ashley Judd. Ashley has been in the news lately because she reconnected with her estranged husband, race car driver Dario Franchitti, after he was involved in a nasty wreck at the Houston Grand Prix earlier this month.
Williams for some reason began talking about the fact that Ashley and Franchitti have been married for 11 years but have no children and how people shouldn't get married if they don't plan on having children.
But then she went a little too far and commented on Ashley's age (45) and how she was "kinda rotten down there."
Umm, hello, eww. The faces in the audience pretty much said it all.
And there's our boy.
Back a couple of days ago, I told you about the plan that the crazy folks over at the Westboro Baptist Church had to picket Blake Shelton's October 3 concert in Kansas City, Missouri. Blake remained quiet on the subject, probably because he was busy getting the new season of "The Voice" underway.
Now, however, he's finally addressed the threat of having a bunch of yelling, bigoted picketers at his show next week ... and it's been handled in true Blake fashion.
Here's the brief exchange:
Blake: "Hey WBC.. I've got one more sin for ya... Blow me."
Blake: "Hey @WBCSays.. This isn't about God. It's about me using this opportunity to make y'all look like the absolute complete dipshits you are."
Blake: "Also @WBCSays... Y'all may want to keep an eye on ur women at my show.. I've got a few band and crew guys that'll be smacking that holy ass!"
And that was the end of Blake's interaction with the hate group, although they continued for the rest of the night to attack him, Miranda, their fans, Hollywood, various websites, The Voice, and just about anyone else they could think of to talk crap about.
Sad really. The thing is, these guys really love all the publicity. They feed off of it and I imagine tomorrow this story will be retweeted by them simply because they love being mentioned by anyone, even if that person happens to think that they're a bunch of ass-hats.
It'll be interesting to see if anything happens next week when they hit Kansas City for their ridiculous protest.
The National Enquirer (yeah, I know) is reporting that Randy Travis' ex-wife Lib and his current fiance Mary are battling over the singer's fortune, despite the fact that he's still alive and kicking and could probably really use the money for medical bills right now.
“Randy’s final days are being ruined by their constant bickering and feuding,” a source told The ENQUIRER. “While he was lying in a hospital bed on life support unable to speak and barely able to move, these two women were destroying his last hope for peace with their fight over his money.”
Ugh. I hope this is just a rumor and that his personal life is peaceful right now. If this is actually true then shame on them.
You can read the full story here.
Randy is currently in a rehab facility after suffering a stroke and heart problems earlier this summer. It did recently come to light that Randy had come down with pneumonia.
“Olde friend Randy Travis needs our prayers,” Sammy Kershaw wrote on his Facebook last month. “Had a little setback this weekend. He has developed pneumonia. Let’s rock on for him.”
Hopefully this is the last medical setback for this poor man.
In better Randy Travis news, the singer is set to release a new album, Influence Vol. 1: The Man I Am, October 1.Like what we're sharing?
