Is Miranda Lambert pregnant? Miranda's mom spills the beans

And the beans are that Miranda is most definitely not pregnant.

I know, I know, booo.

I guess everyone's getting tired of hearing Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert say they're not having a baby anytime soon because now RadarOnline has moved onto asking Miranda's mom about the baby bump rumors.

“They are totally not expecting!” Miranda’s mom, Beverly Lambert, told Radar. “And I’m fairly certain that I would be the first person to know.”

I don't know, my husband found out he was going to be a grandfather on Facebook so you never can be sure these days.

Jake Owen's dad begins radiation treatment for throat cancer

Well wishes going out to Jake Owen's dad, Steve, who is set to begin radiation treatment for throat cancer today, Wednesday, February 20. 

Back in January, Jake revealed on Facebook that his father had undergone surgery for cancer. Now he's revealed that his dad is beginning 6-1/2 weeks of radiation at the Mayo Clinic.

From The Country Vibe:

“I talk to him every day.  I think he gets annoyed with it because he thinks that I’m over-analyzing the situation.  But I’m not.  I’m just careful and my main goal is to keep his spirits high.  What he’s going through in his mind isn’t a big deal, because my dad’s good at everything he’s ever done and he works hard so he can beat it.  But I remind him sometimes, whether he wants to hear it or not, ‘Dad, what you’re going through is not easy.  But I’m here for you, mom’s there for you.’”   

Jake says he also convinced his dad to get a small dog to be his companion while he undergoes radiation treatments five days a week for six and a half weeks.  Because his dad’s cancer started on the back of his tongue, the radiation treatments will be concentrated on his neck and throat area. He’s expected to lose his taste buds for at least a year and have a horrible sore throat for a while, but Jake feels confident about his dad’s prognosis and he says, “My dad’s been good at everything he does, he’ll beat it, he’ll be good, and I just want to maintain that mindset as well.”

Cancer's a tough bitch, but it sounds like Jake's dad has a great support system, which is usually as important if not more so than the best treatments in the world. Good luck Mr. Jake Owen's dad!

Charlie Daniels gives the cutest Christmas gift EVER!

Oh man, why couldn't I have had Charlie Daniels as a grandpa growing up? Says the bitter 38-year-old blogger writing this story. 

Charlie Daniels has been sending out all kinds of pictures and tweets regarding Christmas, but by far the cutest picture he's tweeted so far has to be the the one above that he sent out yesterday. 

I'm assuming that's his granddaughter and I have to say that I've never been so jealous of someone under the age of 6 in my all life. 

And here's the moment the lucky little girl got the cutest cowgirl setup I've ever seen. 

Little Big Town's Kimberly Schlapman loses brother-in-law to drunk driver

So, so heartbreaking. 

Last week Little Big Town posted a message on their Facebook announcing that due to a death in the family they had to cancel their concerts in Riverside, CA (11/28) and Los Angeles, CA (11/29). Nothing was said in that announcement about just who it was who had passed away. 

Now we know which family member passed away -- Kimberly's brother-in-law Allen Schlapman. 

Kimberly posted this sad message on the group's Facebook Friday: 

Last Wednesday, Nov 21, my brother-in-law was killed by a drunk driver. He had come to Nashville from Virginia to visit us for Thanksgiving, which is our long-standing family tradition. He is married & has a 9 year old little girl. This is a part of life that one never imagines or plans for. It has been very difficult to accept. Allen Schlapman was an amazing father, husband, brother & son. We will miss him so much. I have been deeply touched by all your well-wishes & prayers. Thank you. God has proven himself faithful to us & has given us great peace amidst this horrible tragedy.Kimberly Schlapman

My heart goes out to Kimberly and the rest of her family.

Kellie Pickler's little brother sparks investigation into misconduct by county official

Ooooh, possible corruption and intrigue at the county office. 

Charlotte, North Carolina television station WSOC TV has had an ongoing investigation into allegations that a Stanly County court official illegally obtained a copy of a certified birth certificate for Kellie Pickler's little brother Eric Pickler.

The station learned that in June of '09, Stanly County trial court coordinator Susan Honeycutt applied for a certified copy of a birth certificate for Eric for unclear reasons. 

According to UNC School of Government professor Charles Szypszak, "Certified copies are used to prove your identity. You get drivers licenses, passports, things like that, so that's why they're restricted."

The Stanly County Register of Deeds Suzanne Lowder discovered that Honeycutt had applied for the birth certificate and emailed the professor with questions rather than going to the higher ups to question the odd application by a fellow county employee. 

Wynonna Judd's husband loses leg after motorcycle accident

Wow, this is certainly a lot worse than I initially thought it was. 

TMZ is reporting that following his motorcycle accident on Saturday in South Dakota, Wynonna Judd's husband Michael Scott "Cactus" Moser's leg was amputated. 

Judd's rep tells us ... Michael Scott Moser "severed" his leg in the crash ... and when he was transported to a hospital in Rapid City, SD doctors determined it was necessary to amputate the leg above the knee. 

The rep also says Moser had to undergo surgery on his hand, which is of particular concern because he is the drummer in Judd's band.

Judd's rep tells us, "Judd and Moser appreciate all of the quick medical and police responders as well as the hospital staff and well-wishes from family, friends and fans."

Wynonna understandably has postponed her concerts this week in Canada. 

Wynonna Judd's husband injured in scary Saturday afternoon motorcycle accident

Wow, this is scary. 

According to the Rapid City Journal (via TMZ), Wynonna Judd and her new husband, Michael Scott "Cactus" Moser, were riding their Harley Davidson motorcycles together in South Dakota on Saturday when Moser somehow drifted out of his lane, across a center divider, and hit the driver's side door of a Chevy Malibu.  

The accident happened near Hill City, SD. Wynonna was riding a seperate bike in front of Moser and was not injured. According to police, Moser's injuries were serious, but not life-threatening and he was airlifted by helicopter to Rapid City Regional Hospital. 

The driver of the car that Moser smashed into, 59-year-old Michael Bruce, was not injured and refused medical treatment at the scene.  

Wynonna cancelled her show Saturday night at Deadwood Mountain Grand Hotel & Casino. The only mention of what happened was on Wy's Facebook:

Due to unforeseen circumstances Wynonna’s show at the Deadwood Mountain Grand Hotel & Casino has been cancelled this evening. The show will be rescheduled at a later date. Please contact the venue for further information.

Rumor patrol: Taylor Swift's parents have reportedly separated

Well this is certainly sad if true. 

Taylor Swift has been noticeably absent from the media lately. Yeah, she pops up here and there, but the media saturation of old has really slowed down, almost as if she's keeping a low profile. I had thought that maybe she was busy working on her next album and staying more out of sight to prepare for the media blitz that a new album will bring, but now it seems there may be a darker, more sad reason for Taylor to stay out of the media -- her parents possible impending divorce. 

Star magazine is running with a story (via Radar Online) in its next issue that says that Taylor Swift's parents have called it quits (or at least separated) after nearly 25 years together. 

Star can exclusively reveal what's been upsetting the 22-year-old singer. After nearly 25 years of marriage, her parents have separated! And their breakup has really taken a toll on the young Grammy winner. "She's been going through a lot," a family friend informs Star. "The new album will showcase the pain of her parents' separation."

According to the insider, Taylor's mom and dad, Andrea and Scott, split a while back — sometime within the last two years but they were trying to keep their marital problems private. "The Swifts stopped wearing their wedding rings," continues the source. "They haven't filed for divorce because they don't want it to damage Taylor's career."

But ironically, Taylor's concert schedule may have been a major factor in the rift. "Andrea being on tour with Taylor full-time has really been hard on her relationship with Scott," says the source.

Ugh. Blaming Taylor's concert schedule for her parents' possible marital issues seems a bit rough -- I mean who wants that on their shoulders? Hopefully this is Star magazine just being Star magazine and Taylor's parents are fine and dandy.  

Billy Ray Cyrus' wife Tish explains how son ended up in the hospital

Scary stuff!

Last weekend Billy Ray Cyrus tweeted a photo of his son Braison in the hospital hooked up to all kinds of wires and holding a container filled with blood. It was gross and pretty scary. Billy Ray's only explanation was:

This was yesterday. Everything is O K now and he is home...but @braisonwukong was bleeding badly ! yfrog.com/oeu93ewj

Braison had mentioned on his own Twitter that he had tonsil surgery earlier in the week and then ended up bleeding a lot which sent him to the hospital. 

Now Tish, Billy Ray's wife and mother to Braison, Miley, and the rest of the bunch, has explained just what went down.
