Edens Edge release track listing for upcoming album (press release)

Big Machine Records’ rising stars, Edens Edge, have revealed the official tracklist for their self-titled, debut album. The project will be released on June 12, showcasing their rootsy signature style, which is evident on the sassy new single, “Too Good To Be True,” and their Top 20 debut single, “Amen.”

Award-winning producers Mark Bright and Dann Huff each worked on individual tracks with the Arkansas-bred trio, who penned half of the songs. The album displays Edens Edge’s unique musical blend that is deeply rooted in Country music, acoustic instrumentation and pure vocal harmonies.

This summer, Edens Edge has been selected for an opening slot on Rascal Flatts “CHANGED TOUR.” They will share another national platform with their labelmates called Outnumber Hunger, which helps to secure meals for the 1 in 6 Americans struggling. The partnership between Big Machine Label Group, General Mills and Feeding America engages consumers across the country while encouraging local outreach. Previously, they were profiled as one of Billboard’s “Artists to Watch,” were chosen as a CMT LISTEN UP! Artist and joined three major Country tours – Reba, Lady Antebellum & Brad Paisley.

So let's just get this out of the way - who the heck thought it would be a good idea to make the gals of Edens Edge look like they'd fit right in starring in Tintin or The Polar Express? 

It's funny because Hannah and Cherrill look so, I don't know, tweaked and fixed, and yet Dean looks normal. It's not just me is it?   

Just for the record, the gals are beautiful enough naturally, they really didn't need airbrushed into oblivion.

Rascal Flatts announce "The American Band Tour" (press release)

Apparently Rascal Flatts are a little tired of all these darn Australians - we're looking at you Keith Urban - and Canadians coming over here and touring their little foreign hearts out because the boys have decided to launch the very non-foreign-sounding The American Band Tour brought to you by equally home-grown-sounding Farmers Insurance. 

 

The tour will begin this summer and will feature opening acts Little Big Town, Eli Young Band, and Edens Edge.

Edens Edge member gets engaged in a most romantic way

Awww, congratulations to Edens Edge member Hannah Blaylock whose boyfriend of three years, Justin, popped the question in a most romantic way while the couple were on vacation in Florida with friends recently.   

Hannah couldn't hardly contain her excitement and took to the band's blog to let fans know about her engagement.

Most singers when they're just starting out, even if they're on tour with a big name, will go out and try and meet fans in smaller venues such as local Walmarts, bars, radio station parking lots, etc.  

They're fun ways to meet the newest talent out in the wild of the real world.

Now imagine going out to meet a new artist only to have the meet and greet crashed by a big name star such as....oh let's just say Blake Shelton since that's what really happened.  

Rachel from Tampa Bay US 103.5 sent me the whole fun story of just such a thing happening this weekend: 

Brad Paisley was in town last night along with tour mates Blake Shelton & Jerrod Niemann.

Jerrod was scheduled to appear at The Dallas Bull (a country bar in Tampa) to sign autographs for fans after the concert. Well, he didn't come alone. Blake Shelton joined him as well as The JaneDear Girls and a couple of members from Edens Edge.

Blake was a blast and couldn't let Jerrod do his signing without giving him a bit of a hard time.

All in good fun. Thought you might want to post some of our photos on your site. I attached some of the good ones of Blake & Jerrod. 

PS- Think Blake has been working out or something? He looks great!

Why the heck doesn't this ever happen when I go to one of these things?  Totally jealous here.

Edens Edge aren't the biggest pranksters but they may just be the cutest

So Edens Edge are currently on tour with Brad Paisley and you know what that means...pranks!!!!

I kind of imagine Brad Paisley's tour being like a rolling Animal House with toga parties and pranks galore.  

Well the three Edens Edgers finally got to pull their very first prank on Brad and let's just say it was very tame by some prank standards, but what they lacked in greatness they definitely made up for in sheer jubilant execution.

Megan Fox goes country?

I get odd notions in my head sometimes.  Sitting here watching this Ram Country video of Eden's Edge, I just realized how much group member Hannah Blaylock looks like Megan Fox.  You know, the actress from The Transformer movies? You can't really see it in the above pictures as much as you can in the video below.  I guess if you're going to have a doppelgänger, you could definitely do worse than Megan Fox. In case the name sounds familiar, Eden's Edge has just been announced as one of the groups Reba's bringing on tour with her this year.  Good gig if you can get it.

Edens Edge gets Tweet threat from Brad Paisley promising tour hijinks

Edens Edge is a hot new band who just landed one of the most coveted gigs in country music...opening for Brad Paisley.  

So you know what that means....PRANKS!

Dean, Cherill, and Hannah recently played Detroit's WYCD Downtown Hoedown and sat down with WYCD's Chuck and Lee to talk about country fans, tell a few bad-but-funny jokes, and of course, Brad Paisley's tour prank threat.

Dean says the band was having a Tweet & Greet and were talking about pranks they could pull on the notorious prankster, Brad Paisley, when Brad tweeted back what might go down if they prank him. 

Be afraid, be verrrry afraid.
