As many of my readers who have been coming here for a while know, I have cervical cancer. I don't bring it up on the site because it's depressing to most people. Heck, I try not to even talk about it in my regular life either because I know everyone has their own stuff going on. I did for a while have an update page to keep everyone posted on what was going on but I felt uncomfortable doing that and finally stopped.
The worst part of the whole thing is the fact that I don't have insurance. I think the dumbest thing I ever did was giving up my insurance two years ago. I was healthy as a horse and because of this and several other factors, I gave it up.
Trust me, I've been kicking myself these last few months.
I've tried to keep the site out of my health issues and my health issues out of my site, but now that I've got $16,000 in doctor bills with really no end in site, I'm sort of screwed. I know everyone has their own issues, especially these days, but I figure if my faithful and awesome readers wanted to donate a dollar or two it would add up and every little bit helps, trust me.
