Gary Allan custom guitar replicas now available at Gary's Nashville store -- The Label (from the mailbag)

The stylish interior of Gary Allan's Nashville menswear store The Label, celebrating its one-year anniversary this week, is now decoratively adorned with replicas of the multi-platinum country artist's custom-designed guitars created in Australia by Tomkins Guitars. Two guitars from the collection are available for purchase.

"Like the fine furniture, sculptures, and light fixtures that we carry at The Label, along with the designer clothing and jewelry, Tomkins Guitars are a work of art and the product of meticulous craftsmanship," said Allan.

Taylor Swift catches a falling man....in a commercial

Men are literally falling for Taylor Swift...at least in her new Macy's commercial starring her, a bottle of her new perfume Wonderstruck Enchanted, and a guy falling from the sky who looks a lot like a very, very young Martin Short. 

YouTube says it's Harold, but I'm still convinced they somehow went back in time and got Martin Short to star. 

Rascal Flatts preparing to open a chain of restaurants

Move over Toby Keith because Rascal Flatts are heading into your territory of feeding fans. 

It was announced yesterday that the trio will be opening their first restaurant this year with many more to follow in 2013 and 2014. 

The boys have partnered with restaurant-industry execs Philip Lama and Eric Soe to create a chain of contemporary restaurants that will also serve as live music venues.

The space, which is anticipated to be 14,000 square feet, will seat 163 guests in both indoor and outdoor areas. There will be an exhibition kitchen, raised lounge, and two full-service bars that can sit up to 144 additional guests. 500 guests will be able to stand in front view of a raised stage containing industry-standard premium audio gear and concert-quality lighting. Performers will also have a green room, dressing rooms, and a VIP lounge within the venue.

The first “RF” restaurant will open in Phoenix this year with additional locations including Washington D.C., Columbus, Ohio, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Raleigh, North Carolina, Minneapolis, Minnesota, Long Island, New York, Charlotte, North Carolina, Tampa, Florida, Boston, Massachusetts, and Madison Wisconsin in 2013 and 2014. 

Taylor Swift keeps the red theme going for first print ad for new Wonderstruck Enchanted perfume

Taylor Swift's 2nd perfume, Wonderstruck Enchanted, is due to be released this September and now we have our first glimpse of her very red ad campaign. 

“I love the look of my ad,” Swift told People.com. “I’m wearing this amazing gown that I loved as soon as I put it on. It’s a classic look, and that’s been my recent style obsession. Anything classic and timeless.”

Wonderstruck Enchanted will retail for $49.50-$59.50, with body lotion available for $29.

Just seen this on Miranda's website and thought it was pretty kickin' so I thought I'd share.

Jason Aldean sends new version of 'Take a Little Ride' to radio to support his new Coors sponsorship

Jason Aldean's new single Take a Little Ride is a monster hit for him already, landing at #19 on the Billboard country songs chart, making it the highest debut single of his career.  

Well hopefully you haven't memorized the song for Karaoke night at your local hangout because Jason has officially changed the lyrics to the song and is asking radio to play the new version instead of the old -- and it's all because of a new endorsement deal he's working on with Coors beer. 

Here's the notice some radio stations received today regarding the lyric change:  

"Jason Aldean is in the process of signing an endorsement deal with the Coors Brewing Company. With that, he has changed the "Shiner Bock" line in the song "Take A Little Ride" to "A Couple Rocky Tops". We respectfully request you exchange this version with the one you are currently playing."

And here's the bit that was changed.

Well I guess it's not quite as cheesy as it could have been since they didn't add the words Coors to the song, but still hits me as odd. You would have thought they would have just saved themselves the hassle and sent out the new version to radio instead of the old. I'm sure this endorsement deal didn't just sneak up on them in the last day or two.

Lee Brice reveals the real reason men write songs about trucks (from the mailbag)

Wanna know why so many men write songs about trucks in country music?  

They're hoping to get a free truck.

Duh. 

Congrats to Lee Brice who accomplished just that recently.

Zaxby's zigns Zee Ann....I mean signs Lee Ann Womack

Zaxby's must be an eastern-half-of-the-US restaurant chain because I've never heard of them before today, but their food sure does look yummy.  

And they have great taste in celebrity endorsements!

Lee Ann Womack has been brought on board to be the celebrity spokeswoman for the limited-time return of Zaxby's fan favorites The Roadhouse Zalad and Birthday Cake Milkshake. Lee Ann's fun T.V. spots are set to begin airing today, July 3.  

“We strive to offer our guests new and unique menu options, but we also recognize the appeal that many of our past, limited-time menu items have had over the years,” said Zach McLeroy, CEO and co-founder of Zaxby’s. “Reintroducing these old favorites is our way of surprising our guests and giving them another taste of their favorite items.”
