I really liked Chely Wright's songs Single White Female and Jezebel so it's exciting to report that she's got a brand new label and CD on the horizon.
Country Standard Timeis reporting that Chely has signed with Vanguard Records and will release her new CD, "Lifted Off The Ground," on May 4.
On top of the label and CD news, Chely is also releasing her first book called "Like Me" which is also due May 4. Chely's publicist describes the book as a "candid account of her life, her

Do you hear that? That's the sound of 1000 publishers scrambling to track down Taylor's people because rumor has it she's got an unpublished novel just sitting there waiting for it's time on the New York Times Best Sellers list.
Oh it could happen. After all, Miley Cyrus spent a few weeks there last year with her "Miles To Go" book.
According to UK's OK! Magazine (via Contact Music) Taylor already has written a 350-page novel which surprisingly is completely untouched by the publishing world. She's also taken to recording everything in her life because someday she plans on writing an autobiography.
"Years from now it would be cool to write a book about all the crazy stuff and the insane things I've gotten to do. My life moves so fast, I have to write it all down, otherwise I can't remember where I was yesterday. I will write my biography (sic) for sure."

I've been telling you for a while now that Sara Evans first novel, The Sweet By and By, was coming out soon. Well yesterday was the day that the book finally hit store shelves.
Congrats Sara. She's actually signed a four-book deal with the publisher so this will only be the first of many book releases to come.
Read a little bit of the book here and be sure to get your very own copy below.

Carrie Underwood's hit the big time, The World Almanac big time. The country cutie is on the cover of 2010's The World Almanac and Book of Facts along with the Obama's during President Obama's inauguration and some baseball player (Chicago White Sox pitcher Mark Buehrle according to BAM's Blog).
Carrie's picture is her in her red hot lava dress from last April's ACM Awards.
And while we're talking about Carrie, check out the video below of Carrie chatting with Good Day L.A.

Oh yay, yay, yay. The Judds are one of the reasons I love country music. It started with the Judds long before it moved onto Garth, Clint Black, and Alan Jackson. Love Can Build a Bridge is still one of my all-time favorite songs.
Well if you're like me you'll be excited to learn that The Judds are in talks to do something new next year which may include a tour and new album.
"We are 'in talks,' so there's nothing that's been defined yet," Wynonna said. "I just felt it in my spirit. A couple weeks ago I said, 'It's 2010. It's been 25 years. It's take your mother to work year. It just feels like it's the right time; she'll be 64 in January, and I think it's time -- not the whole year, but it's just going to be a way to celebrate her."
Wynonna says she started thinking about doing something with her mom after performing at this year's CMA Music Fest.
"It was huge," she said. "We sang for 50,000 people and they sang back to us, and it was a holy moment. And on the drive home I thought, 'Y'know, I really appreciate where I've come from and the people do, too, and they love the Judds' music and it hasn't disappeared.' I just thought, 'Y'know, I think it's time.'"
And speaking of 2010, Wynonna has a new novel coming outcalled "The Restless Heart" which is geared towards the younger set. Wynonna says it's her own life story told through a fictional character.
"She's basically the Miley Cyrus agegroup area, so I can tell my story through her about trying to make it in the music business. Who can't relate to that?" Wynonna said. "It's about the dreamer aspect, having stars in your eyes. What kid doesn't know what that's about? I'm just trying to find a way to connect with that generation and especially the younger girls, because it's a really major, formative time in their lives and I want to teach them."
The book is set to be released April 6, 2010, but you can already preorder yours here .

Trisha Yearwood took to her MySpace to give us a sneak peek of her newest cookbook, Home Cooking with Trisha Yearwood.
Guess who's got a new cookbook coming out? Me! It's called Home Cooking with Trisha Yearwood: stories and recipes to share with family and friends. Once again, I wrote it with my mom, Gwen and my sister, Beth. It hits bookstores April 6, 2010.
Here's the cover of the new cookbook! Me and a glass of sweet tea standing outside at my house in Nashville. This book is more of the same basic home cooking that was in the first book. I hope you guys enjoy it!
Trisha even has a guest chef who contributed a few recipes....her husband, Garth Brooks. She tells People.com...
"He's a really good cook," Yearwood, whose new book, Home Cooking with Trisha Yearwood, hits stands next April 10. "He has a couple recipes in there that he actually made up, like Garth's Breakfast Bowl. It's just eggs, cheese, bacon, sausage, tortellini and hash browns. Sometimes he even makes French fries and throws them in there!"
Don't know about the French fries being thrown in there, but the rest sounds yummy.
You can preorder Trisha's book on Amazon now, although it wont come out in stores until April of 2010.
