Hello out there any readers who make it to this page. My name is Shannon - also known as Bloggin' Momma, Queen Bee, Bitch, or whatever else people can think up. I'm a proud mama of two, a boy (11) and a girl (13), and a wife of one. I live in Idaho west of Boise on the Idaho-Oregon border. I'm a big celeb junkie and country music fan which is the reason for doing this blog. On top of running NashvilleGab.com I also do medical transcription from home, write for a radio prep service, and have an medical transcription blog, although it's not updated as often as I would like.
Now about the blogs. My blogs are just meant as fun and unless a news source is quoted probably shouldn't be taken in 100% seriousness. I get my material generally from other blogs and gossip sources, which I will always try to make a link available to you so you can go there and see for yourself that I'm not makin' this crap up. I'm just having fun and not trying to piss anyone off and I'm not trying to be mean in any way, the things I write are just meant as an opinion on the news as others write it. I do also visit CMT and MSN and other reliable sources, but again I will make a link available so you can generally see if what I'm writing about is news or purely meant as gossip, or gab as I like to call it.
Now that being said, NashvilleGab.com may be portrayed as gossip, but that doesn't mean I'm a mean gossip. I'm just having fun. That's it. I come in peace! Don't shoot the messenger! And all that.
If you find something that is completely wrong (such as something misspelled - I once misspelled Eddy Arnold in a post and got griped at majorly about that little slip up) then just let me know. I'm blond and often an airhead and don't mind at all if someone calls me on something I've posted wrong, but again I'm generally just following the lead of someone else.
If I write something that irritates the hell out of you then comment away, I love a good argument, but please don't email me and call me the devil or evil or a bitch or whatever, you'll just make me cry and you don't want to do that since I'm awfully nice. If you're one of the famous people I write about and you think I was mean because I called your dress ugly or said you looked like a prune in your latest set of pictures, then please email me, I'm probably a big fan and would love an autograph. I'm always willing to write a public apology if gifts are involved. If you love a certain singer that I've made fun of and you want to write what you think is a better story about whatever it is I've posted about, then write away, if I like it I'll print it, I like guest writers, it saves on my fingers.
If you ever come across a picture or something that I've used that you own and you want me to remove, just let me know. My pictures come from searching the internet, from my wonderful readers sending me their own personal pictures, and yes, I even buy some occasionally. I always leave a link to where I get a picture from, so if you have some pictures and would like a little free publicity, send them my way. I'm not trying to steal anything and want to give full credit to wherever I get things from, whether it be a story idea or pictures.

I guess that's about it, the biggest thing to remember is I'm just here for fun and to gab about all the stuff I find out in internet-land, I'm not trying to be mean or disrespectful, it's all meant in fun.
