Good news anyone going to Zac Brown's Southern Ground Music & Food Festival this weekend, Willie Nelson will be there after all.
Willie Nelson had originally canceled his appearance this weekend along with a few other shows this week after injuring his shoulder and being ordered by a doctor to rest. Now it's been announced that Willie's feeling well enough to go ahead and appear at this weekend's show.
From an announcement I received via email:
Willie Nelson & Family have confirmed with Southern Ground Music & Food Festival organizers that they will in fact perform on Saturday, September 28th and have invited their friend Warren Haynes to sit-in on a couple songs.
The Southern Ground Music & Food Festival has also announced Kenny Rogers will make a special appearance during Zac Brown Band's "Super Set" on Friday night.
These artists join an impressive line-up including Grace Potter and the Nocturnals, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, Eli Young Band, Kacey Musgraves, The Head and the Heart, and Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, in addition to nightly Zac Brown Band "Super Sets" featuring special sit-in performances by John Fogerty, Jason Mraz, among others, and a special appearance by Kenny Chesney.

That's definitely great news for fans who are heading to the festival this weekend. For those of us who aren't able to attend, all the fun will be broadcasting live on AXS-TV. You can find out more info about how to watch by visiting www.axs.tv.
