Sounds like Eric Church might really be heading out on tour with Kenny Chesney

Back in July I told you about the rumor that Eric Church might be joining Kenny Chesney on tour in 2013. I actually didn't think the rumor was one bit true since Eric is doing so well on his own, but an interesting rumor is an interesting rumor so I posted it. 

Turns out there may actually be some truth to it. 

My radio pal Broadway recently got the chance to chat with Eric Church and one of the things the pair talked about was that tour rumor. 

Broadway asked Eric not only about touring with Kenny but also about taking most of 2013 off, which is funny since they're such contradictions. 

"They both might be true," Eric said with a chuckle. "It is still rumor stage, but I can at least say most of next year off is true. We are doing some shows in Canada the first part of the year, but as far as the U.S. goes, I think it is looking like we may be do 20 shows across the country. We are going to play a few things but we are not on tour, we're going to take big chunks off."

He goes on to say, "Regardless of what happens with touring with anybody else, we are going to be taking most of the year off."

So there you go. Sounds like Eric probably won't be joining Kenny for an entire world-wide tour, but maybe fans will be able to catch him at a few stops along the way.
