I already had the short list of nominations for this year's CMA Awards that were announced this morning by Jason Aldean and Luke Bryan, but then I came across this post on PR Newswire that had a more complete list and while scrolling through I noticed that Willie Nelson had garnered a Musical Event of the Year award nomination.
Then I read who else was part of his musical event for Roll Me Up and Smoke Me When I Die -- Snoop Dogg, Kris Kristofferson, and Jamey Johnson.
Snoop Dogg?
Should definitely be an interesting awards show this year.
All I can say is thank goodness it's not Justin Bieber again.
On a side note, Snoop Dogg recently changed his name to Snoop Lion after some life-changing Reggae moment or something, so I guess I should say Snoop Lion landed a CMA Award nomination.
You can view the more complete list of CMA Awards nominations after the jump....
