Trace Adkins and Kristin Chenoweth return to host this year's American Country Awards

The pair were such a hit last year that Trace Adkins and Kristin Chenoweth have agreed to come back for the second year in a row to host this December's American Country Awards.

Trace says he's excited for the chance to have fun with Kristin.

"I'm looking forward to cutting loose again with Kristin, who's quite the firecracker comedienne, while we also take viewers through an evening of great music and awards," Adkins said in a statement.

Kristin says she's pretty excited too.

"We had a blast last year and I plan to pull out all the stops to make sure everyone has a good time," she said.

The fan-voted awards show will air live from Las Vegas on Monday, Dec. 17 at 8 p.m. ET on Fox.
