Sheesh, I guess Jason Aldean decided we had had too many interesting CD covers lately and it was time to slip back into the old it's my face on a CD and I don't give a crap cover.
Ugh.
Jason recently revealed the cover of his new CD 'Night Train' and any excitement for it's release on October 16 that I may previously have felt just sort of flew out the window.

Well I have been accused of being crazy on a few occasions. I just have a huge pet peeve about plopping a star on a CD cover and calling it album artwork. I love creativity. But doing covers like this is I'm sure cheaper and I actually wrote a story a while back about how they do these simple covers because they show up better for downloads or something like that. It's all good. Jason will do just fine despite my dislike for his CD cover. Anyone who has been coming here for long knows I love to bitch about CD covers and no one is immune.

What!? You crazy? This album cover is HOT!!! Why make an album cover all artsy fartsy?? That isn't the type of artist Jason is. I love this and I'm super stoked for his new album.
