Actually the info was emailed to me. But, you know, potato potahhtoe.
So the people who brought you the scary Taylor Swift comic book are taking on another country star -- Tim McGraw! Tim's first comic book called FAME: Tim McGraw will be available this September from Bluewater Productions.
The bio-comic was written by David A. McIntee and brought to visual life by artist Jed Mickle. Cover was painted by William Sleeper.
“It was fun to do,” McIntee said, of working on the comic. “Tim has had a wider career and area of interest than people might think. I loved the chance to do something with a hint of the Western, to go with the musical genre. I think his fans will enjoy that tone to it.
“With our biographical comic book series—FAME, Female Force, Political Power, etc.—we have the unique opportunity to showcase a wide range of notable figures,” explained Bluewater Productions’ President Darren G. Davis. “We are getting young people excited to read by releasing comic books featuring the role models that they look up to the most.”
Print copies of the 40 page comic book will retail for $7.99 and can be found at your local comic book shop or bookstore. Fans can pre-order the book on Amazon here.
The book will also be available in digital format on the Nook, Kindle and ITunes. A special edition print version will be available at www.comicfleamarket.com.
Since this is a bio-comic, that has to mean that Faith Hill will make an appearance in the pages of the book too. That should certainly be fun to see.
