Lady Antebellum were the opening act on Saturday for Bruce Springsteen at London's Hyde Park and the group was giddy with excitement, with Hillary Scott tweeting the above picture along with:
Four giddy musicians got to meet one of our heroes @Springsteen!!
Unfortunately for concertgoers, the awesome evening ended on sort of a sour note when citing noise curfew rules, a surprise duet between Bruce Springsteen and Beatles legend Sir Paul McCartney was cut short by organizers who actually had the balls to cut power to the microphone because the show ran 10 minutes late.
Can you imagine!?!
Live Nation released a statement that said the show had to be cut short because of "health and safety" issues.
But in the middle of an epic duet?
Hillary Scott said on Monday about the crazy moment, "I'm sure there was definitely a reason. I hear that they had a very strict curfew in Hyde Park."
Yeah, a reason like they're a bunch of music loving spoil sports.
