So we are currently day #5 of Blake Shelton versus the turtle lovers of the world after his now infamous tweet on Friday about running over a turtle -- a tweet that wasn't actually based on real events but rather was just meant as a silly joke.
Now Ellen DeGeneres, usually the sweetest person on the planet -- at least she appears that way on television -- has put her 2 cents in, tweeting Blake yesterday:
@blakeshelton Here's what's funny: knock-knock jokes. Here's what's not funny: animal cruelty.
Blake seemed a little surprise, tweeting in response:
For god sakes... Now Ellen?!!
Can you imagine what this world would be like if people spent this much time worrying about people. I assure you NO turtles heard my joke..
Sheesh, even Blake's well-documented Twitter battles with PETA never lasted this long.
I don't know, I kind of would have expected Ellen DeGeneres to be more funny in her public Twitter shamings. Must say I'm a little disappointed.

I absolutely LOVE Ellen. I'm glad J C Penney didn't drop her as their spmeoswkoan. Ellen said it best, I'm Gay. We all know that Ellen is Lesbian and Gay: She's Lesbian and Happy!!! These groups such as One Million Moms are just bigot old biddy's who are undercover lesbians. It's funny to me. More people are shopping at J C Penney. Guess On Million Moms are really 40,000 Moms with no life.

Well... if it was a joke that was a really very unhappy one!
Mr. Shelton, as a public figure, has the responsibility to give good examples and not bad ideas, specially for young people. Next time he wants to make a joke he should learn how to do it because.. seriously, did someone understood he was joking???
