Steven Tyler and Carrie Underwood perform on CMT Crossroads
Well this is a strange development on a seemingly harmless rumor.
On Friday, MJs Blog, a very reliable site for info on all the American Idol alum, posted a little rumor about Carrie Underwood and Steven Tyler recording a country duet for Aerosmith's upcoming album Music From Another Dimension. She had quoted a Facebook post as her source, saying the writer had "been right about stuff in the past, so there is a very good chance this rumor is true!"
Lots of people got excited because it's a pretty cool rumor if you're a Carrie Underwood fan. But you know who didn't get excited about the rumor? Aerosmith apparently.
Yesterday on MJs Blog, there was an update about the original Facebook post she had gotten her info from. Apparently, Aerosmith drummer, Joey Kramer, was unthrilled and tweeted, "Stealing @Aerosmith thunder look up the word PROSECUTION !"
Wow! So stealing someone's thunder can now get you prosecuted?
Oh, there's going to be some mofo's headed to the clink around these parts because bitches always stealing my thunder.
Ha!
Sheesh, how dumb is that? All Joey Kramer did was basically confirm a silly rumor that would do nothing but get country fans excited for an Aerosmith song and keep people talking. Free publicity seems to me to always be a good thing.
The tweet was apparently enough to scare poor AeroFANatic, the original Facebook poster, because he/she quickly removed the post.
So, thanks to Joey Kramer and his "threatening" tweet, I'm pretty sure you'll be seeing a Carrie Underwood/Steven Tyler duet come August 28th when Aerosmith's new album hits stores.

The older Joey gets ? The dummer the drummer becomes.

Apparently, Joey Kramer's Tweet may have been to do with somebody trying to leak the new album, not the post boot Carrie Underwood. Which would make more sense.
