Oh those hardcore country fans sure can be a kooky bunch.
On Friday evening, a Bloomington, Illinois man decided he wanted to get a better look at Reba McEntire boarding her tour bus after her concert.
He felt the best way to do that was to head to the second level of the Pepsi Ice Center parking deck and promptly jump off.
Despite the suicidal look of things, he explained he just wanted to see his idol .
"He told us he was not trying to injure himself, but trying to see Reba getting on her bus," said Bloomington police Sgt. Henry Craft.
The man, identifed as John Griffin, landed semi-safely on the ground below and was transported to an area hospital with no serious injuries.
No word on whether poor John Griffin caught a glimpse of Reba or not.
