Unlicensed Lauren Alaina gets herself one bad ass ride

Lauren Alaina doesn't have a driver's license yet and isn't very adept at driving a stick shift, but that doesn't mean she wasn't totally excited to pick up her brand spankin' new bright red convertible 2011 Ford Mustang Shelby GT - one of her prizes for coming in second on "American Idol".

Last Friday, Lauren stopped by Brooker Ford in Dalton, Georgia to pick up her prize, stating, “This car is bad,” before excitedly opening the door and climbing inside.

Unfortunately for Lauren, her mom got to drive the car first as they drove off the lot as Lauren said, “I don’t even have my license yet .… I can’t drive much of anything.”

Well nothing like a little motivation to hurry up and get your official driver's license.
