Deja vu! Railing gives way at Keith Urban concert, fans take a tumble

Pssst, come a little closer.....closer....closer....I have something I want to tell you...closer....

Did we not learn anything from the man who fell over the railing and died at the baseball game not too long ago?  Railings are dangerous, dangerous places so just steer clear.

Unless, of course, you have a death wish, then I suppose it's a great means to an end.

Keith Urban played the Intrust Bank Arena in Wichita, Kansas yesterday (8/16/11), and the evening nearly ended in tragedy when two fans leaned on a railing and it gave way.

Luckily the ladies were in the front row of the lower level where the drop was only about 4 feet - but still, can you imagine?

Let's say it one more time for those of you who may have not heard me the first time....don't lean on the railing!

The two Wichita fans were treated by EMS workers and luckily didn't suffer much more than bruised and battered egos.

The arena's general manager says that the railing was bolted down, but the railing in that particular spot isn't permanent since they move things around depending on the event taking place at the arena.

Strangely enough, this is nearly the same thing that happened back in 2009 when Keith played Memphis, Tennessee. Fans leaned a little too hard on the railing and it gave way sending several people tumbling down.  That time, though, the accident might have actually been worth it since a few of the falling fans actually fell on Keith.

Now while I can see why people would want to get up close and personal with the sexy Aussie, this probably isn't the safest or best approach to getting it done.
