I've never personally eaten at one of Toby Keith's I Love This Bar & Grills, but I hear the fried bologna sandwiches are to die for, dahling.
Well if you've eaten at one of Toby's establishments and thought it was pretty damn good eats, take note because you're in good company.
Toby's Bar & Grills have taken the #22 spot on The Daily Meal's (via The Huffington Post) 25 Best Celebrity Owned Restaurants list.
They say about Toby's ILTB&G: The country music star opened Toby Keith's I Love This Bar & Grill in 2005 in Oklahoma City, Okla., (and in Tulsa). Others have since opened, but they've supposedly been licensed. Regardless, there are high ceilings, large neon beer bottles, and oversized pictures of Keith with his patriotic guitar held above his head. Food-wise, it's all about Tex-Mex and barbecue. Nachos, chips, and queso with salsa. Favorites on the menu include St. Louis ribs, chicken fried steak, meatloaf, and sandwiches made with cheese, steak, chicken, and fish.
It's a pretty diverse group that makes the list, other famous restaurant owners making the list include Danny Devito, Justin Timberlake, Ryan Gosling, Michael Jordan, and skateboarding legend Tony Hawk whose eating establishment came in at #1.
