Apparently, there was a movie premier going on and someone thought it would be fun to invite a "spontaneous" flash mob to take part, only the flash mob didn't want to leave when they were asked to. That's when all hell and teargas broke loose.
Here's what the mob video description says....
At around 7:00pm a mob gathered on Hollywood Blvd in front of the Jimmy Kimmel theater; the mob became angry when "Kaskade" left early. Tear gas was fired.
The riot in question started after a movie premiere of the Electric Daisy Concert Experience, a concert film featuring David Guetta, Deadmaus5 and Moby from director Kevin Kerslake, was cancelled. Apparently a popular DJ tweeted a come one, come all party post that, according to Tim Conway Jr. of Los Angeles radio station KFI, "drew literally thousands of kids."
