So have you had the chance to pick up up Shania Twain's new autobiography From This Moment On yet? I'm in the process of reading it now and have to say it really is an eye-opening, interesting read. Shania tells her story from a very straight-to-the-point, factual way that sort of sucks you in.
Shania has made it very clear that she's not quite mentally, emotionally, or physically ready to venture back into singing yet, but that doesn't mean she doesn't want to interact with her fans. So what better way to meet the masses and sell a few books then to take part in what is arguably the biggest fan event in country music....the CMA Music Festival.
Yep, after a 15-year absense, Shania is once again venturing out to Nashville to the Bridgestone Arena Friday, June 10th, from 2:00-4:00 to sign copies of her book.
"I'm so thrilled to be part of the Festival," said Twain. "It is a huge reunion each year for fans and artists and I'm looking forward to seeing some of the artists I haven't seen in awhile and connecting with the fans who have been so supportive through the years."
So you say you're going to the Festival but spent all your money on tickets and hotel costs and can't afford the book? Or you say you're not lucky enough to be going to CMA Fest this year and need something to make you feel better about that fact? Well never fear because I've got you covered.
I currently have in my little blogging fingers three copies of Shania's book to pass on to three lucky winners.
All you have to do to be entered is email me at contests@nashvillegab.com and tell me you'd like to be entered.
That's it, easy cheesy.
I will draw the winners on March 31st. Good luck!
