Apparently LeAnn Rimes has turned into the Jessica Simpson of the country world because Jessica's got these same exact rumors swirling around her as we speak - that she's not only pregnant but that she bought her own engagement ring.

LeAnn Rimes has been an open book about her love for boyfriend Eddie Cibrian, posting gushing updates almost daily on Twitter - until the past week when things went eerily quiet, shortly after LeAnn shot down rumors that Eddie had proposed. But a family insider says Eddie and LeAnn are engaged.
“When they were in Mexico in September, Eddie asked LeAnn to marry him,” the insider tells In Touch. “They live together, and LeAnn parents his kids with him, so she sees them as married already.”
But now she wants to make it official. On November 22, LeAnn snuck into Neil Lane to pick out her own ring. If Eddie had his way, a source explains, he’d “get it from Polacheck’s Jewelers in Calabasas - he grew up with Brent Polacheck.” But LeAnn wants to do it her way.
Also, LeAnn is “finally ready to start a family,” says a friend. While her rep says, “LeAnn has never shopped at a Rite Aid in Calabasas,” she was seen browsing the pregnancy test aisle at Rite Aid in Calabasas wearing a hat and sunglasses.
According to the friend, the couple recently sat down with Brandi to discuss how to co-parent their boys going forward.
“Their plan is to announce their engagement between Christmas and New Year’s. So it could happen at any moment.”
Boy, this has been quite the month for odd tabloid rumors about the country stars. On the good side, it's nice that country music is big enough in the world of entertainment now that magazines care enough to make up stuff about country singers.
