This has got to be one of the best Trace Adkins' interviews I've listened to in a while. He seems to be one of those guys that sometimes he's chatty and sometimes he's not.
In this interview he's definitely chatty and funny as heck to boot
Some of the highlights from Trace's interview with US99.5's Lisa and Ray:
On why he wasn't at the CMAs: I didn't make a statement, I don't care enough to make a statement...I don't know, I just saved, I didn't have to buy a suit that night. I was just happy for Blake.
About rehearsing for Monday's ACA's: I'm gonna have to go out there Saturday and rehearse, I guess, like I'm really gonna say what's on the prompter anyway.
About the TSA: All you have to do is moan a little bit and they get through real quick.
About Eddie Montgomery Tweeting about his divorce: If Eddie is Tweetin', I'm just gonna say thank God for spell check.
About John Rich on Celebrity Apprentice: After that first season they came to me and they said, you know, 'Who in country music should we go after?' and he was the first name that I told 'em. I said, 'You gotta get John Rich.'
About being nominated for a Grammy (which he was surprised to hear): Are we really? No, I didn't know that.
And of course you have to hear him sing the most enthusiastic Fa La La La La La ever. Check it out below or here if the interview doesn't play.

It would be just great if Tracy won a Grammy. He doesn't care enough about awards to lobby for them but he certainly deserves one. Didn't attend the CMA's so he didn't have to buy a new suit? I can't imagine Tracy being interested in anything enough to buy a new suit.
