Is nothing sacred, the Julianne Hough edition

ANAHEIM, CA - JANUARY 16: Singer Julianne Hough appears at the Shure booth during the 2010 NAMM Show - Day 3 at the Anaheim Convention Center on January 16, 2010 in Anaheim, California. (Photo by David Livingston/Getty Images for NAMM)

First True Grit and now 21 Jump Street.  Will the madness never end?!?

The gals at CMIL are reporting that Julianne Hough is tied to another movie, this time a remake of my teen hunk-fest that was 21 Jump Street.

According to IMDB.com, Julianne has been cast as Sienna in the upcoming film 21 Jump Street. We did some digging and the movie is apparently a remake of a crime series that aired on Fox in the late 80s/early 90s. According to IMDB, the movie’s is about “an undercover police unit consisting of young looking officers infiltrate high schools to control youth crime.”

So after looking at the IMDB page it says the movie will also star Jonah Hill in an un-named part.  He's a funny guy but he's definitely no Johnny Depp or Richard Grieco.  Heck, maybe they'll luck out and get the part of Johnny Depp's character to be played by Johnny Depp, I mean the guy doesn't seem to age ever.

But speaking of Julianne, does another movie part put another nail in her Nashville music coffin?  Do you think she can successfully juggle both careers?  Or has the boat already sailed on a singing career?

Trendy folks constantly pay attention to all of the equipment inside the market. One example is, they may acquire great quantities of outfits together with shoes. Then they may acquire other equipment to tie in with these kinds of wearing well this kind of considered as handbags, hats, gloves, scarves together with so on.http://www.himbags.com

I have 21 Jump Street seasons 1-4, courtesy of my sister, and have been enjoying watching them. Right now Julianne can most likely make more money in movies than music. I don't think that means she "gives up" on the music. She simply wasn't able to become established as a singer before the bottom fell out of the industry. It will be interesting to see if she is able to become a mainstream singer, if she decides to give that a try again.

Quite frankly, I'm tired of Hollywood remaking everything...can't wait for a somewhat original idea.

I don't think she's saying it'll negate her "singing" just that it's kind of early in her career to be splitting her focus. All the folks you named; Tim, Faith, Dwight, Kenny Rogers, & Reba had established their musical career before they started acting.

I don't know why only certain artists get slammed for taking acting roles. Shouldn't Tim McGraw's singing career be about over by now if that's the case? There are a lot of singers that act. Tim. Faith. Dwight. Kenny (Rogers). Reba. Why would Julianne making money acting negate her singing? She is currently working on an album too. I would think that multi-talented people would be admired for their talents, not slammed because they can do more than one thing.
