Carrie Underwood's Narnia song not on the movie's soundtrack

 
Now this is kind of odd considering Carrie's popularity, but her new song she co-wrote and performed for the new Narnia movie, The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, has a crazy 30 songs on its soundtrack that releases on December 7th, but Carrie's There's A Place For Us isn't on there. 

I guess when they said the song was going to be available exclusively thru iTunes, they weren't kidding.  Apparently that's the only place you're going to be able to get it.

Strange move soundtrack people.

Who knows. It could be that there are going to be a number of international versions for this song. You have the Swedish version that we know about from the boy band. Its also been reported that British artist Joe McElderry has recorded this song. So with so many versions its possible that the song didn't make the soundtrack. I understand this British singer just went in the studio to record his version.
