So what is a famous singer to do when her husband gets charged with drinking and driving?
Why move to a city where owning a car is pretty much obsolete, of course.
Natalie Maines' husband (and Heroes actor) Adrian Pasdar recently bought themselves a $4,300,000 pad in New York City.
As you might remember, Adrian was busted back in January in California for reportedly driving 94 on the freeway and being a bit tipsy behind the wheel. Pasdar ended up pleading no contest and getting a $395 fine along with being placed on 36 months of probation.
So I guess the easiest thing to do when you have loads of cash and a husband who gets busted for DUI is to move to a city where taxis are readily available 24/7.
Probably a smart move.
And in case you're wondering, Natalie and Adrian's Manhattan keep-my-husband-safe-house is approximately 3,600 square feet with 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and what are sure to be killer views. A tiny place by celebrity house standards, but I'm monstrous if you're used to the normal New York apartments.
