Sara and Craig in happier, pre-text-exorcism days
This is sad, although funny as hell if you're a total outsider like me.
According to TMZ, Sara Evans' ex, Craig Schelske, recently filed papers in Tennessee asking the court to modify his child custody agreement with Sara because Sara's new hubby, Jay Barker, thinks he's possessed by the devil.
I'm sure that's not the only problem, but it's a big one. Seems Jay has taken to sending Schelske harassing texts with messages such as "Satan is controlling your thoughts and actions. You are what Jesus stood against ... The things I have seen with my own mind is a man possessed by Satan ... Away from us Satan!!!"
Away from us Satan? I shouldn't laugh but I can't help myself. Exes are always difficult to deal with, especially when kids are involved, but no matter how tough it gets it's probably never a good idea to text them and call them Satan. That's best left to anonymous blogs and pillow talk I think.
Sara's ex is looking for six-month-at-a-time physical custody of the kids and also wants some sort of gag order put on Sara and her hubby when in front of the kids.
A gag order - or at least a text block - seems like a reasonable request. View the court documents here.
Sara's new husband should keep quiet, it's between Sara and her ex. He's only going to make it worse for the kids who are the innocent ones.

I wish she'd be a little more aggressive with putting out her music. I hope she has a great personal life but damn this gal has a great voice and I'd like her to land some good songs to showcase her talent.

If this is all true, sounds like Sara's new man is a bit bored. Guess he rides the bus with her??
