I think most of the country stars have a hobby or some past time they like to do when they're not doing that whole music business thing. Some of the stars hang with their family. Some visit football camps. Some shop. Some hunt. And some buy and sell real estate.
That last one is the category Kenny Rogers fits into.
Seems he has a passion for buying, fixing up, and then selling pricey real estate. His Atlanta, Georgia area home above was his 10th property to buy and then resell. He told the Wall Street Journal, "It's a hobby with me. Once I get finished, owning it doesn't mean anything to me."
Kenny originally bought the 9000-square-foot, six-bedroom, six-bathroom mansion with 1.5 acres back in 2006 for $2.8 million, spent $3 million renovating, and then turned around and put the house back on the market for $7.95 million.
Well the house didn't sell and disappeared from the market...until now. Kenny's now re-listed the property for a more reasonable(?) $5.9 million, although this go around the sale price doesn't include all the home furnishings like it did in the original listing.
