Earlier I had a little blurb about Carrie Underwood being made of sugar because she had two umbrella carriers. You have to read it here to know what I'm talking about.
Well I came across the full version of that earlier picture and I must say the full picture is far more entertaining than the edited version. I do believe this would be called the OMG!!-I'm-following-Carrie Underwood face.
Wow, this is just surprising. Gretchen Wilson chatted with The Associated Press and gave an interesting little piece of you've-got-to-be-kidding news.
"I've not seen any money on royalties from anything I've done yet," she said.
Wilson has sold more than 6.2 million albums, Nielsen SoundScan says. But she says she split costs with Sony for everything required to send all three of her albums to the top.
"Kind of makes you wonder what that number that we spent is, doesn't it?" Wilson asks with a wry smile.
All I can say is everyone go out and buy Gretchen's new album "I Got Your Country Right Here," that girl deserves to make bank.
I had the video earlier of Miley Cyrus talking about stealing chickens and her Willie Nelson doll from when she was a itty bitty kid. Well @allyrok05 dug up this great video of Billy Ray chatting on TNN about Miley (who makes an appearance) and her boyfriend, Willie.
Despite the unfortunate mullet, it's a very cute video. Well all except for the Willie doll, that kind of scares me.
I rag on Miley a lot but I have to admit that I was laughing at this interview. Miley talks with Jimmy Kimmel about a time when Billy Ray had her and her brother stuff a couple chickens in their pockets to save them from a death by snake. She also talks about her best friend when she was a Wee Cyrus....her Willie Nelson doll.
Headed over to Esquire to see if I could I could hear the full version of Dierks' new Mississippi song he had written for Esquire's Mississippi songwriting challenge. Couldn't find the whole version or free download (I think Dierks' was only available on Monday), but did find something that made me want to hide my checkbook....the priceof Dierks' outfit above.

Man, I miss Lady A's old Webisode Wednesday tune. It was so catchy and for hours I'd be humming Webisode Wednesdays, Webisode Wednesdays, Webisode Wednesdays with Laaaady AAAAA.
Miss that song.
Here's the trio's newest WebWed video of them singing at the ice rink and throwing fruit at the Saddledome in Canada. Strange ritual but hey, whatever works.

Carrie Underwood is one sweet gal. In all of my celebrity digging, reading, and researching over the years I've honestly never heard anyone speak badly of her. Oh sure, some people don't like her music, but her personally, I've never heard anything negative.
Now we know the secret. She's apparently made of sugar. How else do you explain the two umbrella holders? They're there to keep her from melting.
Mystery solved.
Wish I had two umbrella holders. Oh to wield that kind of power.
A while back I had introducedyou guys to James Dupre, a guy I had stumbled upon on YouTube. I fell in love with his smooth-as-silk voice. Well apparently Ellen and I have the same sort of YouTube surfing habit and taste because she invited James to be on her show.
Good for you Ellen!
James now has an awesome CD called "It's All Happening" that hopefully I will have some time in the near future to review (find out more here) and an Ellen Show appearance airing today.
He's definitely on his way.
