Yep, Ms. LeAnn's straight-to-DVD movie, "Good Intentions", which also stars former 90210 heart throb Luke Perry, was released today.
The tagline of the movie is - An off-Beat Comedy about Blackmail, Robbery...and Family Values.
Must say that makes me chuckle a little.
LeAnn Rimes said about her latest move project, “I felt emotionally I could really dig my teeth into this and show what I could do.”
“I’ve been wanting to act. Its just been finding the right thing. And Good Intentions was the right thing at the right time. It was the right script.”
LeAnn shot the film back in 2007 so her comments are a bit dated since we all know how her most recent acting attempts have turned out. I am a little curious, though, why it took so long to finally make it into stores, especially since it doesn't look like a complete disaster in the trailer (that you can view here).
"..dig my teeth into this and show what I could do." Two years later she did the same thing to another woman's husband, leave two children fatherless.
"I've been wanting to act..." because my singing career has been sliding into the dumper for the past decade.

The reason it went right to DVD is because it was either to DVD or the trash. Family values is funny. I hope Luke Perry wasn't married at the time. Since it's been almost a year since Le's "coming of age" I thought an anniversary quote might be in order:
"LeAnn and I are friends, we went to dinner, that's it. The most ridiculous thing is that people believe I would do something like this period ... much less do it in a public place. The false accusations are obviously causing a rift at home, but me and my family will get through this together."
Eddie Cibrian, the day after Le posted the restaurant-finger-sucking video in the tabs so the guy's wife would know what they were up to. The denial was followed the next day by Le posting the hotel-sex-romp pics for the tabs.
