Yep, that's Carrie above looking like a lovely 60s stewardess that somehow fits into her upcoming role on How I Met Your Mother (via Neil Patrick Harris' Twitter). I'm actually a big fan of the look and completely think Carrie should go retro all the time. We don't have much info about her episode that airs in March but ET did have the first look of one of Carrie's scenes below.
As for Carrie's appearance in the upcoming surfer movie, it's now been confirmed (at least according to Tim Ryan's Reel Hawaii)....
As recently reported on Reel Hawaii, singer/actor Carrie Underwood will have a co starring role in Soul Surfer which begins filming Monday on Oahu’s North Shore, production sources confirmed…Underwood will only be filming here three days because she goes on tour March 11…Underwood plays a youth pastor named Sarah in Bethany Hamilton’s church and she helps Hamilton after the horrendous shark attack in a sort of a counseling way, according to the script…
Dennis Quaid and Helen Hunt also have been signed to play Hamilton’s parents…
