Okay, I have to admit that I would probably expect Taylor Swift to decorate her recently purchased Nashville penthouse with pink unicorns, magical rainbows, and that genie she apparently keeps in a cage to grant her every wish, but the fact is she's actually toning it down just a wee bit.
Taylor tells Rolling Stone magazine that she's turning her starter home into a fantasy world complete with a koi pond in the living room.
And you thought pink unicorns and caged genies was a crazy thought. Ha!
"It's going to be my fantasy world. There's a pond in the living room... The pond is a moat around the fireplace and may possibly have koi fish in it.
"You step on a stepping stone in the pond in order to get on a spiral staircase, which takes you up to the human-sized bird cage observatory."
"They're delivering a human-size birdcage, which I'll put a brass telescope in. The ceiling of my living room is painted like the night sky."
Okay, I'm actually envious and think it would be awesome to have a pond in my living room. I would so totally never have to water my dogs again. Besides, I can't say anything because if I think about if I was 20 again and had Taylor's money my house would probably be filled with kegs, beanbags, and motorized recliners so my hubby and I could have recliner battles during commercials.
