And just for the helluvit, Taylor Lautner wins Breakout Movie Actor Award and gives us the awkward ex-girlfriend standing ovation moment of the evening (and not because I'm a creepy 35-year-old woman with a teen-wolf fascination)

But nope, it was just Carrie.

Carrie wins and wants big wedding hair

Carrie won the award for Favorite Country Artist at tonight's People's Choice Awards.

Before the show Carrie chatted with People.com about her wedding plans.

"[I want] a groom, good food and an open bar," Underwood, 26, tells PEOPLE on the red carpet at the People's Choice Awards at Los Angeles's Nokia Theatre.

She may not know who's designing her wedding dress yet – or have picked a wedding date – but Underwood has some thoughts about how she plans to look on her big day.

"I'm Southern," she says. "I like big hair and eyeliner. I want my wedding day to be me, so I'll probably be rocking some big hair and some eyeliner."

Underwood, who just released her third album Play On, will kick off her tour in April – but she has a strategy for staying in touch with Fisher while they're apart. "We're big texters," she says. "We talk on the phone. I-Chatting, I don't know what we'd do without it to be honest – and face time is the most important."

As for her fiancé, Underwood says, "he looks good in pictures – but he looks better in person."

Shania set to interview a queen

 

Shania Twain alert!

Back in September Shania Twain attended the Important Dinner for Women event in New York City which was hosted by Jordan's Queen Rania.  Well the two women must have hit it off because Shania will now be interviewing the Queen.

On Friday Shania will be a guest host on Canada's "The Current" radio show and will be asking the Jordanian queen about her global charity for underprivileged youth, 1Goal.

As part of the radio program Shania will also visit an inner-city Toronto school to perform for students.

Carrie Underwood to try out her acting chops

An engagement to a handsome hockey player isn't the only first for Carrie Underwood lately it seems, she's also decided to give acting a shot.

It's been announced that Carrie will be making her acting debut on an upcoming episode of How I Met Your Mother.

Carrie will play Tiffany, "an enigmatic pharmaceutical sales rep and love interest for Ted (played by Josh Radnor), in an episode scheduled to air in March."

Congrats to Carrie on all the great stuff she has going on.
