Ughh, sorry for the title of this post but I'm so, so, so not a Gwyneth Paltrow fan. She just bores me to pieces. Even her name makes me want to yawn and take a nap.
Anyhoo, Gwynnie aside, I think most of us were vaguely aware that Tim had a new movie lined up that would also star Gwyneth Paltrow, but the details of what the movie's about, who else would be starring, etc. are just now coming to light.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, joining Gwynnie and Tim in Love Don't Let Me Down will be Garrett Hedlund (probably best known from the movie Eragon) and Leighton Meester (Gossip Girl TV show). The drama will be written and directed by Shana Feste and Tobey Maguire of Spiderman fame will be one of the producers.
According to THR, "Love," will have Hedlund playing a young rising singer-songwriter who becomes involved with a fallen country singer played by Paltrow. They embark on a career resurrection tour with her husband-manager (McGraw) and a beauty queen-turned-singer (Meester). Romantic entanglements and old demons threaten to derail them all.
Sounds exciting enough, but still not convinced. They should have seen if Faith would like to have played Tim's wife, now that would have made things interesting.
Production is set to begin in January 2010 in Nashville.

I'm not going to go see it for Gwyneth, I'm going to see Tim. Nothing with him in it is boring to me. Did ya see him in Peoples Sexiest Issue? He just gets better all the time.

Meh. I find Gwyneth's recent films generally boring. I liked her in Sliding Doors, but that was years ago.

I'm TOTALLY with you Shannon -- can't stand her or her boring to death films... snooze fest for sure.

I'm sorry I can't agree with you. I saw Gwynnie in a movie {on tv } she was married to Michael Douglas and she had an affair, and Michael's character hired someone to break into their house and kill her, only she killed the guy. It was a really great movie and she was awesome in it imo. I can't remember the name of it though.
All that aside I am looking forward to another Tim McGraw movie. I think he's very good. I do agree that Faith in the role that Gwynnie is playing would have been a great choice.

Did the article say whether or not they've also hired Tim's hairpiece? I understand it has it's own agent.
