Looks like the "New Moon" steam is starting to run out a little. It's all over the web that "The Blind Side" (the football movie that costars Sandra Bullock and Tim McGraw) overtook the vampire flick for the #1 spot this weekend.
Oh sure, New Moon has earned $255.6 million domestically, compared to $129.3 million for “The Blind Side,” but who cares, "The Blind Side" kicked vampire butt this weekend and that's all that matters.
Congrats to Tim and everyone else for the huge success of their little movie that could.

Well, I think that Tim's name might not be plastered everywhere because he's more known as a singer not an actor. As he starts doing more and more films, he'll get better and better known as an actor.
But congrats to Tim and Sandra, on a good film doing well.

I find it interesting ... Tim didn't receive, and maybe didn't even ask for, front placement credit -- you KNOW if Toby was in this movie his stupid name would be everywhere -- but with Tim, it's never mentioned except in the small print... even though he's been relatively successful in past roles - and has chosen good material (generally)... I think that speaks volumes for Tim and how he sees himself and his career. This is one movie I really do want to see.

I am so glad, it is good to see a movie with substance beat out a vampire movie. Great job Tim and Sandra.
