Kate Coppola made a beautiful bride....wait, Kate Coppola got married?

Kate-billy

I'm sure at some point I knew that Kate Coppola (one half of the twin sister duo Kate and Kacey) had gotten married, but being that it was clear back in September and I have more than a slight case of senility I guess I've long since forgotten.

Anyhoo, Kate got married and you can check out the gorgeous pictures over here.

Which came first, the football jersey or the song?

84238855

I don't get football. I get the funny commercials during the Superbowl, but football itself is sort of beyond me.

Yeah, I'm one of those girls.

Well Martina's obviously not one of those girls because she just bought herself a football jersey.  And she wrote a song about it.  From WSMV.com...

A country music star now owns a controversial football jersey worn by Tennessee Titans coach Jeff Fisher.

Fisher wore a Peyton Manning jersey to a charity event last month, where former Indianapolis Colts coach Tony Dungy was the keynote speaker.

That was when the Titans were on a big losing streak and Fisher made the comment he wanted to feel like a winner. That didn't sit well with a lot of fans.

After that event, Fisher donated the jersey to a charity auction.

According to The City Paper, country music superstar Martina McBride bought the jersey and even has a new song about it, called "We Got Your Number."

A bad case of Deja Vu

1204_leann_club_car_ex

You know, if you're rich and have trouble not hitting things when you're driving it might just be time to hire a driver.

Just a thought.

Anyway, LeAnn Rimes was involved in yet another auto accident yesterday.  This time she hit a golf car.  Luckily it wasn't a golf cart that was hauling some old guy around the greens.

According to TMZ...

According to witnesses at the scene, LeAnn was backing out of a parking spot at The Commons shopping center today in Calabasas, CA when she collided with a security golf cart.

We're not sure who was at fault -- but we do know there were no injuries and the matter was taken care of privately.

Chauffeur, LeAnn, that's all I've got to say.

Trace Adkins is Scared, at least he's acting that way

6a00d83432081953ef01156fc46e5e970c-800wi

Tons and tons of news to get thru so dang it I'm just posting the press release as I got it.....

Country star Trace Adkins has been cast in Lionsgate's "Tough Trade," the first original series pilot for EPIX,™ the new multi-platform entertainment service from Viacom Inc. (NYSE: VIA and VIA.B), its Paramount Pictures unit, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios Inc. (MGM) and Lionsgate (NYSE: LGF) which launched October 30, 2009.

In the series, Adkins will portray the character named "Scared," a friend and bodyguard to Linwood Tucker (Sam Shepard), who is fiercely loyal to the Tucker family. He follows his own code of honor and is both respected and feared throughout Nashville.

"Tough Trade" is a provocative, contemporary one-hour drama about a three-generation Nashville music dynasty whose penchant for drink, debauchery and divorce has left them morally corrupt and on the verge of bankruptcy.  The family with little left is pinning its hopes on its former black sheep, a budding country star turned alternative rock heart throb. "Tough Trade" brings viewers behind the scenes and into the living room to expose the tragic and sometimes comedic secrets, scandals and sorrows of this unforgettable American family.

With a creative team led by executive producer and show-runner Jenji Kohan ("Weeds"), the pilot for "Tough Trade" was written by creator/co-executive producer Chris Offutt ("True Blood," "Weeds") and will be directed by Gavin Hood (X-Men Origins: Wolverine, Rendition, Tsotsi).  Shooting began this week in Nashville, Tennessee.

Adkins, who is best known for his basement-deep baritone voice and chart-topping hits, has enjoyed a successful career as a performer, musician, author and actor. He has sold more than 10 million albums and performed for millions of fans worldwide. Already a country star, Adkins grabbed the national spotlight as runner-up on NBC's first season of THE CELEBRITY APPRENTICE. Later that year, he appeared as "the Angel of Death" in the film AN AMERICAN CAROL. Most recently, Adkins learned that his latest Top 15 hit, "All I Ask For Anymore" has received two Grammy nominations in the "Best Male Country Vocal Performance" and "Best Country Song" categories.

I love you Gary Allan!

Untitled - Copy

I don't usually like when artists use concert footage for music videos, it sort of seems like a cop-out or something.  But I love this new video Gary has for Today.

What can I say? Gary can just do no wrong.

Oh, and everyone please shed a tear for me because I'm going to miss Gary's Sunday concert.  I'm so friggin' sad. Seriously, there will be crocodile tears on Sunday.

Oh crap, CSI's gonna try and kill off Joe Don

Large_People_Rascal_Flatts_NY146

Okay, maybe it'll be one of the other Flatts boys that CSI will try and knock off.  In any case, the boys of Rascal Flatts are going to be making a special appearance on CBS' hit show CSI.  The episode will shoot in early January with the episode to air later in 2010.

According to the press release, the band will play themselves in a storyline that finds one of the members in harms way.

Guess who I got to interview this morning

J harp_a_woman_needs#4A3DEF

And take a wild guess who failed to plug her equipment in the correct spot so that you could actually hear both sides of the conversation.  Hint, it wasn't Jessica Harp.

Ugh.

I had a great conversation with Jessica, just wish you could actually hear it.
