Mike Fisher and Carrie Underwood are just about sweet enough to rival cotton candy, I mean seriously. The two, despite never being caught by the paparazzi out together, have made their affection for each other very clear.
In the latest Mike-and-Carrie-sitting-in-a-tree story, Mike lets us know what he thought about Carrie very openly professing her love for him in the liner notes on her latest CD, Play On.
Mike tells The Toronto Sun about the CD honor, "Obviously, it was very nice," he said. "I was happy she included me in something like that." He then goes on to say, "I told her that when my CD came out, I'd return the favour," the Senators centre said on Saturday.
Mike goes on to say that there are no plans in the near future for a wedding, but Carrie is a serious girlfriend, only his second.
"There has been only one other girlfriend, really," he said. "It lasted a while, but it was a long time ago."
And about never being seen together, Mike says, "We're pretty private, and we obviously want to keep it that way," he said. "Keep our relationship and details really private. But at the same time, we're both happy with the way things are.
"I'm obviously happy, and it's been a good start so far on the ice, and things are great off the ice."
Awww. Wonder how Carrie will top these nice things Mike had to say.

I think it is great that they are keeping their relationship so quiet. I am so tired of hearing about every burp or hiccup that an artist has. It gets annoying and very boring. I am happy for these two nice people. Carrie is an amazing person and has amazing vocals. Mike sounds nice also--so I am happy for them.

I think I just got a cavity reading that. Ha Ha. Just kidding. Glad she's found someone so nice and genuine. I for one find it refreshing that they are keeping their relationship to themselves.
